Whatever. I'm not gonna debate this. People constantly saying Knicks have no big presence, no solid rebounder. Only way to get one was to overpay, and get rid of Chauncey. Got rid of him. I'm happy. Gonna be glad seeing somebody actually pull down some rebounds for the Knicks.

if I gotta suffer 1 more year without a decent PG then so be it. And next year, we'll drag Nash over here.

And Billups isn't even gone yet. Still trying to work a trade to at least get somebody back for him. So w/e.

the fuck

without Billups we're the team that showed up and got swept in 4 games by Boston, adding Chandler is great but not at Chauncey's expense.

Wow, cant believe Tyson wants to come here. Its good, but youre fixing 1 problem and making another one. I dont know if there are options out there to sign another guy who is savvy as a PG.

Well with this Chandler trade, it looks like the Knicks are out of it for the 2012 sweepstakes. Time to add the other pieces around those 3 to make a championship contender. I think this is a very good move for the team because it adds much needed defensive help and takes away some of that pressure from Amare. I really wanted Cp3, but just have to accept what the Knicks did here by making the team more balanced defensively.

So whats going on with Billups' situation? do we still have to waive him since we did a S&T?

he was amnesty waived. he has to go through a bidding period and if he doesnt get claimed then hes free to go. most people expect him to land in miami after the bidding is over.

still trying to use that mini mle which is like , $2.5M i think.

And lets all be serious. Their biggest need was a defensive, rebounding Center. They got that. They had to sacrifice Billups but thats the way it is. I mean for christ's sake DeAndre Jordan is getting 4yr $43M. Bigs are getting paid big and if you want one, it'll cost an arm and a leg.

bigs are really overpaid and i admit that. but solving your biggest issue and creating a new one isnt the brightest thing to do. im not saying you guys arent better though, just saying you created another issue.

I agree. Then giving all that money to a guy that has foot problems?
