Whats laughable to me is that Mel Tucker was screaming as if he wasn't happy with the tempo and playcalling in the 4th QTR.

Your the god damn head coach now.. You're down by 3 TD's.. don't run it with MJD or do a 3 yard Screen pass to MJD. I understand he is our offense, but shit.

To be fair, Gabbert was the least polished QB of all the 1st-2nd round QB's (outside of kaepernick), and he didn't have an offseason. I don't think anyone really expected him to come in and run an NFL offense in year one.

He's just not comfortable yet, someone gets near him and he freaks out. He just needs more experience and needs to settle down a little bit. I don't see many coaches returning anyway once they get a new Head Coach and maybe they'll get an offensive system going that fits him best. He just seems overwhelmed right now and scared, he needs some better skilled players around him as well.

Do you think the Jags would really draft a QB two years in a row?

If a new coach comes in and says he doesn't want Gabbert, it's possible. Just not likely.

What a monumental mistake Jags made passing on local product Tebow, taking Blaine Gabbert. Heck, Jack Del Rio might be C of Y candidate.
Skip Bayless couldn't wait to throw a shot at Jacksonville

Yes its possible.

Very possible.

Much like Clausen/Newton.

With the new CBA, a franchise isn't tied to a QB like before.

Makes me wonder if Tebow realizes that having another man on his dick is still gay...don't think his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, would look too kindly on that.

BTW that's more a shot at Bayless than Tebow...Tim's just caught in the crossfire.

I heard the Jags were looking at Mularkey, and Sherman. Which is laughable, because Mularkey is a joke of a coordinator, and you know about Sherman.

According to Wayne, they have a long list.. I bet they've also hit up Jon Gruden and Cowher too along with Fisher.

I think Jon Gruden could really work, you guys have a steller defense barring injury, and an offensive minded coach could help. Now those option I mentioned on the other hand are horrible at best.

Gruden isn't getting back into coaching anytime soon.

Meh, Iono.

According to the Local News Station here in Jax, they had an interview with Jon and asked him if he'd want to get back into coaching this year, he said yes.. but wouldn't comment on if there has been any interest from Jax so far.

He turned down the Ohio State job this year.. I don't know his stance on college coaching, but for an Ohio native to turn down that job, is pretty telling to me that he doesn't want to coach again yet.

Still, Clausen was a 2nd rounder. Gabbert was top 10.

On a side note, if you guys get Gruden, get ready to have a shit team for years. That guy is clueless.

Doesn't really matter..

Good teams know when to admit that they made mistakes with high draft picks.

If RG3 is there, and Blackmon is there, and Claiborne is there..

I'd prolly take RG3. It adds excitement and brings energy to the city.
