sure its a lot of money but thats the price of big men now because teams hand out stupid money to players like okafor and charlie v.
and there's not as many top-notch big men in the league, so a good Center is going to be worth more.

Brian Butch to join the Hornets- he had multiple opportunities but at the end the day the Hornets were clearly the best fit--
Be jealous.

The Warriors have had conversations with the Hornets about Paul and hope their young talent, willingness to spend money under new ownership and being in the nation’s sixth-largest market could entice him to sign an extension. The Warriors are open to trading anyone, including Monta Ellis, Stephen Curry or rookie Klay Thompson, one league source said. Golden State prefers not to use the amnesty clause on center Andris Biedrins, but would to clear money in a Paul deal.

Selling the Hornets on their young talent could be easier for the Warriors than convincing Paul that the franchise is ready to push past its lean years and become a legitimate contender. The Hornets have expressed interest in trying to sign one of the free-agent centers: Nene, Tyson Chandler, Marc Gasol or DeAndre Jordan.
One of the "insiders" on the Hornets forum said the Hornets and Warriors were discussing a deal like two days ago, dude actually has sources lol

Can't see CP3 willing to go there. Monta and Steph would likely have to be moved and the rest of their roster just isn't very good.

The guy on the Hornets forum that originally broke this said that the new Warriors owner wants to make a big splash and believes they could convince Paul to resign. Obviously that would be extremely dumb on GS part, but take it for what its worth.

dont believe that the warriors would even think a deal like that. they would need to trade monta and steph most likely and if they kept monta in a deal for him then id shit myself.

Last I heard it would be Klay Thompson (Hornets liked him in this years draft) instead of Ellis. I've also read several times that the Warriors could take a chance at Paul and hope that he signs an extension with them.

Excerpts :
Once NBA teams can speak with free agents beginning Monday, Miami Heat president Pat Riley has his franchise in strong position to sell Shane Battier on signing to play with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

I don't see why Miami wants Shane...he's good, but they need a C or a PG more.

I also laugh at the Hornets wanting Chandler back...

I have also heard Golden State is offering Steph Curry and Klay Thompson as the foundation to the deal.

Meeting face-to-face doesn't mean they're going to be a Net...
