Man... Watching Suggs against teams just makes me appreciate Whitworth even more... 9 sacks??? That's unbelievable, 3 by Suggs.

I hate Suggs

he just always has to say that he hates Brady

I thought they were good though... lol
Lol idk

I think they're good, but I mean Alex Smith at QB?

I have a hard time saying any team with Alex Smith at QB is a top 5 team in the NFL, much less top three like I'm seeing people say.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they were knocked out in their first game of the playoffs. I think they are just that team you see every year that gets kind of hot and behind a new HC, one hit wonder I guess.

Alex Smith is asked to do so little by Harbaugh though. The only thing they ask him to do is not turn it over and consistently put the ball where it needs to be in the short passing game.

And the odds of being an elite team with a QB like that is slim.

and I don't think you can succeed to long in the NFL by doing that for a long period of time.

Eventually they will have to put the game on Alex Smiths shoulders. And as we just witnessed, the chances of Alex Smith beating you when the ground game isn't working is pretty small.

What playoff team in the NFC is really going to be able to stop their running game though? The majority of the top run defenses are either in the AFC or the teams probably aren't going to make the playoffs.

Not to mention we never really got to see what he could do when the running game wasn't working considering the offensive line completely shit the bed in pass protection as well. He had minimal time to pass.

The Falcons have the 2nd best run defense in the league right now
