I have never been impressed with Mark Sanchez, ever. I didn't think he'd be a good QB period, and he's got the tools to succeed and always has had them but he's been average at best to me. Nothing more than that. Looking at his play on the field suggests that he has some talent to grow into, but I don't think it'll ever material like that. He's been fucking up, and hasn't shown himself to be anything more than a mid level QB. Nothing special about that dude.

Two players on the Jets o-line are terrible. One is average but is getting up there in age. Two are elite.

So 2/5 of our o-line are worth a damn.

And I pointed out the Sanchez/Ryan variable because the Jets were a very good team last year, and they didn't lose any key players except for Braylon Edwards. literally, that is basically the only change. So they went from being in the AFC Championship last year, to 5-5 this year, and lost 1 player. And yet despite that drop in overall team performance, Sanchez has made improvement. Not a lot, but some, despite the team sucking.

A part of it is the Broncos defense. They have gotten a lot better I will admit that. I was talking more about the weapons on offense. Someone has to score those game winning drives, correct?

If he is so awful, then why are they winning games? "Because of the defense"

But the defense has scored only 1 TD in their past 5 games. So someone has to score points for them and Tebow has helped them win those close games.
Take Thursday as prime example. Tebow sucked ass 55 mins of the game. The defense shut the Jets offense down so badly that when Tebow actually got the ball back and he decided to turn on the prayer "Im Jesus" switch, then he looked good. As you see from past when the Broncos face a high scoring offense like they did with the Lions, they got shut out. If they make it to the playoffs, what do you think is in there? Pretty much nothing but high scoring offenses, this is a different league.. Can't expect to win the game when your QB is pretty much a FB.

Yall have been hyping up these past 4 wins so bad.. lets look at the teams, shall we?

Miami - Horrible fucking team.
Oakland - About even with Denever which = bad team.
Kansas City - Will probably be top 10 in the draft next year.
NYJ - Okay team this year but has had its struggles.

Are you fucking kidding me.. So much hype off of these 4 wins.. just smh worthy. & Before you go pulling the Oakland stats out of your pocket, who did they have at CB? Thats right.. NOBODY!! Lito Sheppard was like their starter and he was just signed.

Damien Woody is the reason the worst offensive lineman in the NFL is starting, so he's a pretty big loss too.

Wayne Hunter died this morning laughing at the 1st statement.

The 2nd statement just shows you how much of a homer you are..
Yes, I am the biggest homer at SI right now....

Oh wow it is fun posting asinine statements!

Its not like I called you a <Censored>, or dumbfuck. A homer, which is pretty much completely 100% true.

A week back you said the reason why VY won was because of his defense... Now you're saying the same about Sanchez.. but you don't admit that the reason why Tebow is winning is because of his defensive play. You just say it had a part.. no, Von Miller should be arrested for what he did to Wayne Hunter.

Only QB in NFL history to completely suck ass 55 mins of a real NFL game, and still have fanboys on his nuts like leaches.

I believe that the defenses that VY and Sanchez have had were better than the one that Tebow has. This is the same defense who gave up 49 to the Packers and 45 to the Lions, so they arent this juggernaut that the Titans and Jets defenses were previously.

If Tebow and the Broncos continue to win, let him play. If he starts to cost his team games, then bench him but he hasnt done that yet.

I agree with this, they have been bad teams he has played and the team has won. I also agree that there is too much hype over his 4 wins, I wasnt going to pull the Raiders stats. But I have never said oh Kam you were so fucking wrong and youre a moron because Tebow isnt that good right now and he hasnt had a great game.

The funny thing is youre saying all these things now when they are winning, I cant wait to see when they start losing. And I bet you wont wait to mention how wrong I and all the nut huggers were. But right now, they are winning and he deserves some credit because of it.

Whatever I'm saying goes in 1 ear, and straight out the other.

The Jets were the best offense they faced out of the 4 wins. They're a ground and pound team, and without LT and Shonn Greene got injured.. Mark Sanchez is a game managing quaterback.. if he has to try to beat you with no run game, hes going to turn it over eventually.

Yall say Tebow has helped motivate the defense, no.. Look at who they've played. Shitty offensive teams during the "Tebow Stretch". Defense has looked great during this time period because of the Offenses they've been playing. If you face a good offense (Detroit, Packers) who are really a heavily passing offense, the defense will melt.. and Since the Passing offense will be control the Time of Poession, when the Broncos offense gets on the field the opposing teams defense is well rested and will force another 3 & out. Tebows not good, hes just faced shitty teams and barely got by the Jets. Its not like the Jets defense came out and collapsed to Tebow, they held him in check for 55 mins. The Broncos defense did enough to the struggling Jets offense to where when Tebow finally did turn it on the Broncos would still be in the ball-game.

Ready for another in 1 ear, out the other response however.

The in one ear and out the other thing is a problem for him in the Clayton Kershaw thread too.

I was comparing Tim Tebow's defense this year to VY and Sanchez's defenses in prior seasons. Im not going to give complete credit to a Broncos defense that hasnt been dominant this year. Like you said, against a passing offense the Broncos arent that good. But the teams in their division dont have great passing offenses, except for the Chargers but Rivers hasnt played well and has cost them 3 games. They have played better recently, but the defense isnt the only reason why they are winning. If Tebow was so awful and bench-worthy he wouldve committed more turnovers that would have cost his team wins. Then I would agree with you and say that Tebow is bad and he is the reason why his team is losing. Tebow has faced shitty teams, arent you supposed to win against those shitty teams? He has done enough to win and thats why he should continue to play. Are the Chargers, Chiefs, and Raiders significantly better than the Broncos? I dont think so.

Just smh.

Tebow doesn't turn the ball over because he doesn't pass the ball. He doesn't pass the ball because the coaching staff knows he can't pass the ball.

Point blank period.

So are you saying that Tebows cheerleading has the defense playing harder? And not the fact that they've faced shitty offensive teams?

He doesnt commit turnovers and he doesnt pass the ball. And yet he continues to score on opposing teams even though everyone knows they are going to run it.

I said they have faced shitty teams on BOTH sides of the ball.

Champ Bailey said this:

"It's a good feeling, because I know if we're close, we've got a chance," Pro Bowl cornerback Champ Bailey said. "He's going to keep grinding."

"People are going to say what they're going to say. They're going to doubt our quarterback, doubt our defense, doubt everybody," Bailey said. "It doesn't matter. Whether they pat us on the back or kick us, it doesn't matter."
It sounds like the defense is feeding off of that negativity and hate towards Tebow in my opinion. Im done, later guys.

Champ is pretty much saying that in order to win a damn football game, Defense has to play great just so when Tebow finally gets his 5 good mins a game in, he sets em up for the win.

Which is what I've been saying.

So hes not really a Quarterback because his only talent is running the ball...

They might as well play Orton at QB and Tebow at FB.
