The defense was the reason he has a great winning percentage. The Jets have had the best defense in the league the past 2 years or close to it. And the best running game in the league one of those years. He has benefited from a good overall team.
it was sarcasm. Its the same thing with Tebow. They win because of everyone around him performing above expectations.

Its not the same thing, the Jets have had a very good overall team. The last time the Broncos made the playoffs was 2006, the Jets have made it to the AFC championship game the past 2 years. The level of talent on the Jets around Mark Sanchez is better than the talent around Tim Tebow.

Its exactly the same thing regardless of the type of talent around them. Tim Tebow sucks. He throws terribly, yet his team wins. Mark Sanchez sucks, yet his team wins. You can diddle it all you want and disect every minor detail of the differences, but in a large sense, they are the same. Except the media sucks Tebow's **** 24/7. Thats the big difference.

Jets sucked before Mark Sanchez and Rex Ryan.

Broncos sucked before Tim Tebow and John Fox.

you cannot blame 1 or the other in each team, because you have not seen 1 or the other. you have not seen Rex Ryan run the Jets without Mark Sanchez, and you have not seen John Fox coach a full year without Tim Tebow. and I say that so that you can't sit here and say "well it's because of Rex Ryan they are good, not Sanchez." And so you can't say "the Broncos are good because of Tebow, not because of John Fox". We haven't seen each variable on it's own.

And if the Jets are so good, why the hell are they not leading the division? so obviously they aren't that good. maybe the level of competiton in the AFC East dropped for the last 2 years.

They didn't win the division in '09 or '10 either when they made the playoffs... Patriots own that division

BUUUUTTT you can admit Sanchez is pretty bad.....right?
Sanchez is a game manager, he'll never be some elite passer.. I don't see why this is so hard for everybody to understand.

Was he a reach at #6 overall? Yes.

Is he terrible? No. There are worse QB's in the NFL.

Hes probably in the 16-25 range however. Which is average, nothing special.

Would you admit that there is still room for improvement?

Well ofcourse, Alex Smith was labeled a bust his whole career, and is finally having the best year of his career.

Theres always room for improvement.

Its not like Sanchez is like Tebow and has terrible accuracy or throwing motion.

There's room for improvement with everyone.

Sanchez' situation calls for him to be a game manager, but he can't do it. He kills the team with pick 6s, picks in the red zone, etc.

Tim Tebow is terrible and yet his team wins? Im guessing you havent seen the Broncos the past couple of years, they have been terrible defensively and recently their running game has been awful until these past few games. They aren't minor details, an offensive line is the most essential aspect of an NFL offense and Mark Sanchez has had one of the better ones in the league with plenty of weapons around him to raise his level of play.

Put Mark Sanchez on the Broncos and he is not a good QB at all. Put Tim Tebow on the Jets and I dont think the Jets are that much worse with him. It all adds up, just look at Matt Hasselbeck who is a prime example. He started off the year really well and it was due in large part to Kenny Britt, Britt then gets injured and what happens? Hasselbeck returns back to mediocrity. Actually John Fox was a coach for the Carolina Panthers from 2002-2010, including a Super Bowl appearance. So we have seen the variable of John Fox alone and he has been somewhat successful.

LOL. I'm talking about John Fox without Tim tebow, on the Broncos. Panthers were a different team, different personnel, etc. We only saw a select few games of Orton as QB under John Fox as coach. And everyone knows a new coach has a whole new philosophy and it takes time for the players to come together under that philosophy.

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

But you don't wanna admit the reason why Tebow is 4-1 is because of the Broncos defense?

Just stop.
A part of it is the Broncos defense. They have gotten a lot better I will admit that. I was talking more about the weapons on offense. Someone has to score those game winning drives, correct?

If he is so awful, then why are they winning games? "Because of the defense"

But the defense has scored only 1 TD in their past 5 games. So someone has to score points for them and Tebow has helped them win those close games.

Please stop being so naive because its old and repetitive. We all understand that you believe Tim Tebow is an awful QB and he doesnt deserve to start. I find it funny how much it annoys you when people say Tim Tebow is amazing. I believe he can be a mediocre QB who can take a team to the playoffs and nothing more. I agree his accuracy is bad, his throwing motion is not adequate, and the media hype is unwarranted. He might not be a great QB, he might not even be NFL quality, but as of right now we are seeing that he isnt costing his team games and they are winning. You denying the fact that Tim Tebow has had a significant influence in his team's recent successes is incorrect in my opinion.

I keep saying that Im done talking about Tebow with you and I keep posting and replying to your comments, lol. I feel like Im going in circles, lmao.

Wayne Hunter died this morning laughing at the 1st statement.

The 2nd statement just shows you how much of a homer you are..

Dude... I said Tim Tebow is terrible and his team wins. This year. his team wins this year. They sucked last year, they are good this year. They didn't have john Fox last year, they have John Fox this year. It's called a variable. They haven't had a John Fox variable for 1 full year without Tim Tebow. I don't get why this is so hard to get through. My point is we can't determine if the Broncos success is due to Tebow, or Fox. Credit to their success could go either way.

And if you paid attention to the game Thursday night, no, Sanchez does not have a good line. Von Miller owned w/e his name is. He was getting gangraped the entire second half. And every time he got sacked it was because his receivers didn't get open.

Defense doesn't just contribute through scoring. They contribute through 3 and outs, special teams, putting pressure on the opposing QB, and keeping points OFF the board. The Broncos defense has done just that, and they don't get enough credit.
