Unless something crazy happens (like Bama loses another game) there needs to be a rematch for the title. Anyone who says LSU-Bama aren't the two best teams in the country (by a wide margin) is just a homer of a certain school or conference.

You give LSU or Bama, Miles and Saban, more than a month to prepare for a title game against a Oklahoma State, a Boise, a Oklahoma, a Stanford, etc etc and they will win the game big. It happens every year. The talent level in the SEC is so much better than other conferences.

I was listening to the Dan Patrick show and 82% of people said they don't want to see a LSU-Bama rematch, why? I'd much rather a 9-6 game over a three or four score blowout for the title.

I don't want to see a rematch because it won't settle anything. I'm not going to disagree and say that LSU and Bama are better than Ok St, Stanford, etc... But say Bama beats LSU by 3 in the title game.. Who is the champ?

That's a good point I hadn't thought of.

I'd say Bama since they won that game, but that makes sense.

I guess it's one of the downfalls of the system?

Yeah, whoever wins the National Championship game, is the champion....

Are they necessarily the BEST team, no but they won.

I agree with Bama dropping only to 3. Boise didn't really deserve to move up and neither did Stanford.

Houston has scored 33 more points through 10 games than the 2008 Oklahoma team, who set the record for points in a season.

You mean the defense that couldn't stop a 4 win Purdue team?

but now since there is no chance at the big 10 title, the only thing left is to hopefully beat Michigan, and watch Fickell and the entire staff get canned the day after.

Michigan is lucky we got them earlier scores. Offense looks terrible right now.
Mainly because Gardner is awful.

So glad they missed that FG. If you combine the play calling with the HORRIBLE pass interference, Boise didn't deserve that game.

That was seriously one of the worst PI's I've seen.

We're more then likely getting LSU/Alabama rematch in the Championship game.

I wonder what would happen if LSU lost in the SEC title game.

That would probably vault Alabama into the national title, and they wouldn't even have won their conference.

Which wouldn't make sense, seeing as how LSU would have the head to head advantage with 1 loss, but late losses are nearly impossible to overcome in the voters minds.
