I think Doc will force Ainge to take him if available, so with having a high pick this coming year (Clippers pick), he might come out just for that.

Clippers are gonna be better than you think this year (if there's a season)

im not sure if the clippers will have a high pick, like cc and mexi said. id like that team this season, whenever it is. and if its half a season and we would see a new schedule made, that could help them more too.

Austin Rivers and Kyrie can form their back court in Cleveland in 2012.

Harrison Barnes looked like the same player he was last year...That's not encouraging at all.

He just doesn't seem to have a star quality to him. His ball handling needs work, he just seems like a solid role player waiting to happen in the NBA.

Barnes doesn't seem to love the game.
That's 1 thing I disagree with. He loves the game..and is one of the most dedicated guys I've seen. He's known for his early morning workouts at 6-7 AM. He just doesn't have a star quality to his game like cheat said.

Just because you put in the necessary work doesn't mean you love the game.

He just kind of seems like the kind of guy that will get by on talent in college and then collect a paycheck in the NBA.

I mean how can you say he doesn't seem to love the game? Like why would you dedicate so much time and effort if you didn't love it. I don't understand how you can make that judgement

I think he's referring to the fact that Barnes' rarely looks "into" the game, he always just has a glazed over, emotionless look on his face.

It's numerous guys like that. Barnes just comes off as swaggerless hence why people notice. Austin Rivers doesn't smile a lot either.

There's a HUGE difference from Barnes body language and just demeanor on the court than compared to guys like Rivers, TMac, and Wade. You can just see it. I admit I haven't seen very much of him (I could be completely wrong), but he just doesn't seem to be enjoying himself.

Why he would put in the effort he does? That's easy, how much is his rookie contract going to be worth? Ricky Rubio was the fifth pick and according to a little research I just did he could make just under 14M in his rookie contract. That gives him more than enough reason.

Like I said, I could be completely wrong and he could take that contract and be a 20 point scorer as a rookie for all I know.

But that's the thing with Harrison he never has shown emotion like that. The most I ever saw out of the guy and I've been watching him play for going on 3 years was when he hit his first 2 shots at Duke last year and when he dunked on a clemson player..he yelled a bit after the play. If you saw his game winner against FSU..He did a celebration and he looked so lame lol. So I won't hold that against him. He doesn't care about the money like that..Dude truly wants to be great.
