Lions signed Leonard Davis today. They said he is now enough good enough shape to where they wanted to sign him.

Holy shit...
Roommate is a die hard Pitt fan, he's not happy to say the least.
I would be, too..

LeBeau as much as I love and respect him as a defensive mastermind, called the complete wrong defense that last drive. You can't expect the slowest corner on your football team to run with a speedster in Smith, eventually he's going to bring that ball in even with all the drops. You cut out that bump and run shit, play zone, and make the tackles that are necessary. You CANNOT get beat deep. They did.

Damn..

We’ve been hearing increasing chatter via our network of sources regarding a growing perception among players that Jackson’s power in the wake of the passing of owner Al Davis has gone to Jackson’s head. It’s believed within the locker room that Jackson is running the show; as one league source explained it, some players believe Jackson isn’t qualified to have that much power.

Punctuating the quietly growing sense of resentment was a team meeting from Saturday night in which Jackson warned players that he’s already looking at free agents and that he won’t hesitate to cut current members of the team and replace them. Whatever Jackson did to push the right buttons before the game against the Broncos didn’t work; Oakland lost by 14 points to a team that extensively used the kind of college-style read-option offense that isn’t supposed to work at the NFL level.

Roman Harper is only 2.5 sacks away from tieing the record for sacks in a season by a DB. Still seven games to go. Sweet.

I think I'd rather let Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy go for it on 4th down, instead of the punter.

I really hope the Bears get Cutler a true #1 receiver in the off-season.. I love to watch him play.

The best RB in the NFL is Matt Forte. Man, he can do anything. Such a talented player.
