As of right now, who are the Top 5 QB's in the league? I think with the emergence of Cam and Stafford, Rodgers amazing play, and the loss of Peyton has shifted this list significantly.

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Tom Brady
3. Drew Brees
4. Eli Manning
5. Matt Stafford

Ben Roethlisberger is close, but I picked Stafford because he has committed less turnovers.

Eli's put up solid numbers, but against the shitties of defenses, except for Philly

Get him out of the Top 5, now.

Rodgers, Brady, Brees are definetly #1, #2, and #3.

After that I'd say it's between guys like Big Ben, Stafford, Eli.

Yeah, 1-3 is pretty clear. After that...who knows.

I think Big Ben would probably be in the top 5 maybe Stafford...

Eli doesnt get to pick the schedule. But he will have his opportunity to prove people wrong with the 49ers, Saints, Jets and Packers coming up.

Yeah, I hate that when people use the schedule as a reason to critique people. It's not their fault they have to play the teams that they do and you have to give credit no matter what, it's the NFL and nothing is a given. Generally, the games that you should win are the toughest of any. I've been one to discredit Eli in the past, but he is playing really well right now regardless and I give him credit for that.

I'd put Stafford right outside this group in the next best 5.

Feels nice as fuck to just have Stafford mentioned. But my top 5 goes as followed:

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Tom Brady
3. Drew Brees
4. Matt Schaub
5. Ben Roethlisberger

But, the only reason Peyton isn't on my list is cause he is hurt. I'd still peg him in at probably 3.

GIANTS 2011 SCHEDULE

WAS (11)
STL (12)
PHI (2)
ARI (28)
SEA (18)
BUF (25)
MIA (26)
NE (32)
SF (22)
PHI (2)
NO (23)
GB (31)
DAL (15)
WAS (11)
NYJ (6)
DAL (15)

The number in parenthesis is their rank of pass defense.

So saying Eli is going to be tested when they play the 49ers, Saints, Jets and Packers, is actually silly. The Jets will be a challenge, but the rest are 22nd, 23rd, and 31st at defense.

The 49ers have the best run defense in the league or close to it. So next week Eli will have to be very effective to win the game because I see our running game being stopped. As for the Saints, they are always tough to play against and play well against good competition. The Packers are ranked very low and I agree, but they create turnovers and Woodson is still playing at a high level. Just because those are the rankings for their pass defenses doesnt mean it will be easy.

Jets will be tough because of Cromartie and Revis, with the Saints Eli will have to match Brees score for score, 49ers defense is going to be beat by throwing effectively, and Packers I think arent playing up to their standards.

Those pass defense rankings are based solely on Passing Yards. And you know what... Tim Tebow proved this week that you can still win games despite barely throwing the fucking ball.

Take into account sacks & Interceptions and those matchups aren't as pretty. Take into account over his career he's never really had an established WR that was out there year after year. Every 2-3 years somebody leaves and he has to make it work with new guys around him. Nicks has been there for 3 years, Manningham I think 4, Steve Smith, Plaxico Burress, Amani Toomer, Jeremy Shockey & Kevin Boss are all gone. Yet he still makes plays to guys like Victor Cruz, Jake Ballard, Ramses Barden.

He may not be pretty out there, but when push comes to shove he gets the fucking job done regardless of who he's up against.

Projecting Rodgers' full season, with an asterisk next to what would be league records:

.725* completion percentage
5,238* passing yards
48 touchdowns 6 interceptions
129.1* passer rating
