Ahmad Bradshaw has a cracked bone in his foot and is out indefinitely, a source tells the Newark Star-Ledger.
It was originally believed that Bradshaw suffered no structural damage, but that was apparently an incorrect diagnosis. Two Giants beat reporters now say Bradshaw will be out "at least several" weeks and surgery is being considered. It's an aggravation of the same issues that have plagued Bradshaw in the past and resulted in screws being inserted in his feet. Brandon Jacobs will carry the load going forward, with Danny Ware serving as his backup. We're expecting the Giants to officially update Bradshaw's status later this afternoon.
Well Jacobs, here's your chance.

I'll go ahead and call it now, Jacobs won't do anything.

We're fucked, there goes the season.

Alright time to bring it back, man we are really screwed lol. We need to have a good running game right now that its starting to get colder and windier. There comes a point where the injuries are just too much and you cant succeed. If Bradshaw is out for 5 weeks, there is no way this team makes the playoffs. Unless Eli becomes an elite QB on the level of Brady/Rodgers/Brees.

You can't possibly be serious about any of that.

The Giants have probably the toughest second-half schedule in the league. With or without Bradshaw, I'm not sure you guys are seeing the playoffs.

The only way it's remotely possible is if Brandon Jacobs turns into the 2007/2008 Brandon Jacobs and the defense gets healthy/better.

Yeah, the Giants are really going to have to step up and actually have a good second half if they want to make the playoffs, which won't be easy given their schedule. We really need Jacobs to return to form if we want even a chance at putting something together in the second half and getting into the playoffs again.

Yeah, the Giants are the only team with a tough second-half schedule. A remaining schedule that really isn't too intimidating. The Jets, Cowboys and Redskins are all very average, to below average teams. The Saints game is only significant because it will be played below sea level in that dome, the Patriots are probably the team most like the Giants. The Packers, well, the Giants have a history of dealing with "unstoppable" teams.
