Whenever this lockout is finally over, what steps does your team have to take to improve the roster?

For the Hornets, we need to resign Carl Landry to a good deal. I'm not very confident in David West coming back, so Landry should be the next guy up. We should have tons of cap room to work with.

let tayshaun walk, if we can waive a player then get rid of ben gordon. maybe try to sign a starting caliber power forward who can start next to greg monroe. and we need to try and resign stuckey, but only if the money is right.

after all that, we need to suck.

Sign a defensive center and just accumulate as many quality backups as possible.

Sign a quality center like Marc Gasol and get good reserve players at the PF and SG positions.

I say all that minus signing the starter at PF.
Try a frontcourt of Monroe-Jerebko-Daye, and if we blow (as we should) we draft a power forward in the draft.
Andre Drummond:) But if not him, this draft has a few nice big men.

Signing a quality center will be tough for you guys, any quality center will be making big bucks.

i forgot all about jonas, to be honest. we need to try and bring him back at the best value. i think he'll be a cheap re-sign for us.

yep. the market value for average bigmen is crazy high. and the mle is up in the air still so who know how much money the mvas actually have to spend.

The MLE is going to be pretty worthless in the new CBA, which is good.

Yea, I agree its going to be tough. But thats what we need to do, the rebounding prescence during the playoffs for the Knicks was awful. Amare needs help in that frontcourt.
