NFL.com - Last week, Tim Tebow received high praise for leading the Broncos to a comeback win over the Dolphins.

Now, in the aftermath of a 45-10 loss to the Lions, everyone is piling on the Denver quarterback.

"15?" an unnamed Lions defender said in reference to Tebow's jersey number, according to a report.

"Come on -- that's embarrassing. I mean, it's a joke. We knew all week that if we brought any kind of defensive pressure, he couldn't do anything. In the second half it got boring out there. We were like, 'Come on -- that's your quarterback? Seriously?'"

Tebow's performance indeed was woeful -- he was 8-of-26 passing for 85 yards at one point in the fourth quarter.
Sadly, i would have to agree.

Not like it's any news, he doesn't belong on the field as a Quarterback.

Can't disagree with the unnamed player.

I've been trying to guess who it was since I saw this.

As for this, I've seen so much Tebow bashing after this. A complete change from a week ago, even though he was horrible in both games. Only difference was one was a W.

I was unaware the article said he chose to remain unnamed?

Yeah, like the writer of the article wouldn't jump on the chance to tell who this guy was if he never asked to remain anonymous.

The writer who broke the story could of easily been a Detroit reporter who didn't want to name the player.

or it could be a lie.

NY Daily News does the same shit all the time. "An annonymous league official says blah blah blah" and then 30 minutes later that story is debunked by someone with half a brain.

Well regardless of what the situation is, I highly doubt the player would chose to be unnamed.
This is the NFL, not high school girls.

Yeah, I'm sure the player has no incentive to not drop his name next to negative comments about one of the most loved played in the league.

In case you haven't noticed, most of the Lions players don't give a fuck.
He wouldn't have said it in the first place.

Its the norm and popular thing to do nowadays to criticize everything all Tebow does. Albeit much of it is deserved by his level of play, but now its starting to be a little too excessive imo.
