Ian Begley/ESPN.com - Giants running back Brandon Jacobs isn't worried about the boos he heard at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

"I'm playing for my teammates, my brothers," Jacobs said.

"That's who I care about. I don't care about anybody else to be honest with you. I don't care if [fans] cheer for me another day. They could boo me every day. But they should boo when I'm about to score these touchdowns."

Leading up to the game, stories came out in which Jacobs said he didn't think the Giants were using him correctly and he believed he wouldn't finish his career with New York.

That led to fans turning on him.

That's how a player should play. Fans are going to love you and hate you at times, just got to learn to ignore them and just give it your all every game to try and win.

Yeah but you can't let fans get to you, of course you don't want them absolutely hating you but you shouldn't let them influence you too much. Just look at A-Rod.

I KNEW this was going to happen. I knew he was going to say fuck the fans when they booed him during the game. As long as he plays well, then they wont boo him.
