For a long time the one position of "need" for the Bulls has been SG, they tried to fill that spot before the trade deadline last season but failed to do so. Where are they now?

Did they fill that need with Jimmy Butler from Marquette, who is a more of a SF but can play the two also (unlikely he fills that spot)? Who are some guys they could look at in FA or through trades?

I think Aaron Afflalo would be a excellent pickup for them.

I think they sign either of the SG's that we waive, either Gordon or Hamilton.
More than likely Hamilton.

Afflalo would be real nice, but I see the Nuggets locking him up.

I think Brewer may get the nod though. He's a good defender, and once he finally starts fitting in with the offense, he can be a decent player there to.

It took him a while with the Jazz to get things together, but then he did pretty good.

Thing with Brewer is he doesn't have much of a jumper, he's a slasher.

I think the Bulls have enough of that type of player.

He had a decent jumper with the Jazz...I mean he isn't going to drop 20 every night, but he hit open shots.

no, hes not the player they need from the starting two. afflalo wouldnt be bad. assuming we get to waive a player and if ben gordon is the odd man out i could see him going back to chicago.

Ben Gordon would be the perfect fit for the Bulls. Funny that the player they let sign elsewhere is now the missing piece to them being a championship team.

I honestly don't think Gordon would be their answer. Sure he can shoot, but they need more than just a shooter.

I mean look who they started at SG like all of last season...Bogans, he's a defender.

Too bad the Magic accepted Redick's offer sheet, I would love to see him on the Bulls right now.

ben gordon is a spot up shooter who derrick rose and carlos boozer could get so many open shots. hed be perfect, as would jj redick. bogans is a defender, but hes not a full-time starter. i cant understand how you would say ben gordon wouldnt be the answer they need..

How good on the defensive end is Gordon though? To play for Thibs you have to play defense.

He's better than people give him credit for, but he's still not good by any stretch of the imagination.

With that said, I would definitley take him. We have enough defense on the team to get by with a guy like Ben Gordon.

While probably very hard to get him, Joe Johnson is the perfect fit for the Bulls at SG

We were so close to getting him last off-season too.

If Atlanta didn't throw that mega deal at him he was ready to sign with us.
