NFL.com - Reminded of comments made prior to the season by Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has fired back.

Philadelphia and Dallas will face off on Sunday night.

"For a coach to really say that it's hard for me to kind of respect that because the coach isn't really out there playing," Jackson said.

"He's doing a good job of calling the plays and putting his defense in the right position to stop the offense but as far as the defensive coordinator's comments ... it's kind of unheard of, uncalled for."

Jackson added that he would be more understanding if such talk came from a player "so I would be able to get a chance to get a shot at that player who said something."

A Ryan making comments that don't go over well with the opponent? Imagine that.

Just imagine all the media coverage that game will get, both Ryans are head coaches facing each other.
Will be a Monday night game for sure haha and I can't imagine, it would be crazy and I do see it happening at some point.

Maybe he'll be the next Miami Dolphins Head Coach, that way they are both in the same division as well.

It was personal enough when it was Cowboys vs Jets with him being the defensive coordinator, can't imagine being Head Coach for both sides. I can just see the weekly press conferences now leading up to the games. Looked like Rob wanted to strangle someone after that Cowboys/Jets game.

.... But you love the Lions headcoach.. Whos pretty much in the same category as the Ryans.
Well, I haven't heard him say the things the Ryan's have in his weekly press conferences leading up to the games, they are constantly running their mouths all week, I don't hear that with Schwartz. I like Head Coaches that show some emotion, I don't like lame duck coaches.

Yeah, Schwartz pumping his fist certainly puts him in the category of the Ryan's who constantly say asinine things.

That and chasing down a coach because he shook his hand too hard.

It's pretty apparent that Schwartz is a hot head. And it wasn't just the hand shake.

Regardless, he still isn't saying asinine things.

Yeah, I can't see comparing the Ryan's to Schwartz, I just can't see it. They all have their bad sides, but I can't compare them as being the same people in that regard.

I'd rather have my coach saying things to the media than looking like an ass on the field.

Says the Jets fan.
Plenty of Jets fans hate Rex. Ever heard Mike Greenberg from Mike & Mike talk about him? He gets plenty of hate in NY.

I personally love him because I just generally like people who talk a lot of shit. It's similar to myself. I'm always fucking around when I play sports and making jokes and shit like Rex does.

I could see why Pats fans or other people in the AFC East wouldn't like him because he's generally talking about them but a Lions fan who isn't affected by anything he says not liking him is just dumb.
