9 carries- 24 yards- 2.7 avg- 0 TD's
24 carries- 53 yards- 2.2 avg- 0 TD's
13 carries- 21 yards- 1.6 avg- 0 TD's
23 carries- 101 yards- 4.4 avg- 0 TD's
14 carries- 51 yards- 3.6 avg- 1 TD
10 carries- 18 yards- 1.8 avg- 0 TD's

For a grand total of:

93 carries- 268 yards- 2.9 avg- 1 TD

He also doesn't think he is too blame:

"Basically, if you are watching the game and you really can’t tell what is going on with the run game then I would say you really don’t know football," Johnson told The Tennessean newspaper of Nashville, after the Titans were blown out 41-7 by the Houston Texans on Sunday. "I wouldn’t say I am the issue. I am very confident I am doing the things ... I do."
Nobody is talking about Johnson's struggles, but he definitely isn't playing like a man worth 13.4 per year.

Thats a good freaking question. I"m pissed, he's on 1 of my fantasy teams.

Dude holds out for a HUGE contract, and now plays like garbage.

I really don't get it. NOBODY is talking about it. Not the media, not the fans.

What happened to ESPN's CJ2K watch?

Man that is real interesting...I have no idea why. It can't be because of all this QB hype (Tebow, Newton, Ponder, Rodgers...etc)

I don't get it.

Probably because he plays in Tennessee.

ESPN would rather talk Tebow, Tony Romo, Tom Brady, the Jets, etc.

This

ESPN has been doing this a long time, and they think they know what fans want to hear about. they think people want to hear about The Jets struggling because they're in NY and cant keep their fucking mouths shut. They talk about Tebow because nobody believed in him, and here he is leading the Broncos to a comeback. They think people wanna hear about Romo being a great regular season QB and then sucking in the playoffs and in other clutch moments, and since he plays for "America's Team" it's sure to catch our eyes.

In the end, it all comes down to this: They appeal to the 75% of the fans. Those who briefly follow something, but don't follow the games close enough to see through the bullshit,. The other 25%, like us, will get our news elsewhere. We'll get it from ProFootballTalk.com, we'll get it from Rotoworld and team blogs, newspaper columns, sports radio shows, etc.

Because he was coming upon an NFL Milestone only few have reached.

The average fan wants to hear about a guy rushing for 100 yards over and over and over again, and being in reach of breaking a record.

So your telling me if Kobe or LeBron (when he was in Cleveland) if they had a season where they played like crap, no one would talk about them???

I don't believe so.

The media are just dumbfucks. I'm taking this off a thread from the Saints forum talking about NFLN:
And it's probably just not them. I can understand all the Tebow love, that's just the way it works, he's Tim Tebow, he gets coverage for whatever reason. And I'm not one for the "NO RESPECK!!!!11!!!1!" type threads, but this is just too egregious for me to ignore.

On the NFLN the Saints-Colts highlights went like this: They show our first 3 touchdowns, and Colts turnovers and say, and I quote Kermit, "The Saints went on to win 62-7." Wow...really? The Saints put on the best offensive showing of the year and that's it?! I went through their highlights on NFL.com and got the exact amount of time they spent on game highlights for every game, they are as follows:

Chiefs-Raiders: 2:40
Steelers-Cardinals: 2:05
Rams-Cowboys: 2:17
Falcons-Lions: 3:30
Chargers-Jets: 3:42
Bears-Bucs: 3:20
Packers-Vikings: 2:59
Dolphins-Broncos: 3:40
Redskins-Panthers: 3:51
Seahawks-Browns: 3:04
Texans-Titans: 2:48

By comparison the Saints-Colts game was 1:41. Seriously?! A minute and 41 seconds?! How does the Browns-Seahawks game, all field goals, get so much more coverage by comparison? It's mind boggling.

I guess I'm just venting. But...c'mon!!!
According to NFLN's bottom scroll thing, no team has scored as many points as the Saints did last night since the NFL-AFL merger. And that only gets a a minute and 41 seconds of highlights?

At least i'm trying to come up with a fuckin explanation. You got a better one, throw it out there and I'll listen.

I honestly don't see anything else other than location and the type of stories people want to hear. People want to hear about the Jets struggling, Tebow 'defying the odds', #1 draft pick Cam Newton playing well, the once great Tony Romo playing poorly, America's Team struggling. Or at least thats what ESPN thinks the fans want to hear. And I am in no way agreeing with them

I THINK ITS FUCKING BULLSHIT. As Nolafan pointed out, its bullshit how the Saints get the short end of the stick, and the Broncos & Panthers get the high end.

I'm not sure how the Skins game got almost 4 minutes of coverage... game was awful.

Only thing I remember from their coverage of that game was Michael Irvin's dumb ass saying "CAAAAM" every time he touched the ball... I changed the channel quick.

Because it was the same old story? It wasn't an 'interesting game', you get the gist of it when you hear the score..

There is one clear logical explanation for all this, and its what Nolan has been saying the whole time....the media is freaking retarded.

It's called highlights for a reason.

When a team scores 62 points, there should be plenty of highlights.

thats kinda what I was saying.

They're idiots because they think we want to hear certain types of stories and hear about a select group of athletes. They think we want to hear stories about certain teams and not hear about the others.

Its the same way in every sport. ESPN barely talks about the Titans, the 49ers, in baseball they barely talk about the Tigers (aside from Verlander), the Diamondbacks, and in NBA they barely talk about the Hawks, the Trailblazers. It happens all the time.

The Colts are on the national stage enough as it is.. We don't need to see extensive highlights of them either. There is nothing to show with the Colts, you show a few Saints scores, all that's needed..

Is that not what we said about ESPN only talking about those other stories???
