Can anyone tell me why the Saints drop because of one loss on the road but the Pats lose one on the road and they didn't drop?

Did not think I'd see the Giants at number 12 after seeing their performance week 1.

I don't know but I like where the Bengals are, they keep creeping up and creeping up, quietly. Started the year at #32 and now at #13, keep on a movin' up!

It basically comes down to who's defense you'd take.
Ummmm thinking.... thinking... Still thinking.... Ummm. Still thinking. Thinking. Still thinking... Ummm

None of the above..

Haha j/k. If I had to pick one between the two, I'd have to take the Saints, because the Patriots have the worst pass defense in the league right now, and that's where the Saints are so good. I'd take whoever is playing at home, Lol.

Potential Super Bowl matchup?

Just think, in the next few weeks the Saints skill players will consist of:

Drew Brees
Mark Ingram
Pierre Thomas
Darren Sproles
Chris Ivory
Marques Colston
Robert Meachem
Lance Moore
Devery Henderson
Jimmy Graham
Dave Thomas

Good lord.

I don't know, the Saints would have to get by the Packers and that will not be easy to do, but if any NFC team has a shot at the Packers I do think it would be the Saints. I think the Ravens will give the Patriots a run for it, the Ravens have a really good team this year, as they always do. Top 5 defense with a solid offense that can score some points. I could see the Ravens beating the Patriots again.

You can only play with one football.

I think the Saints can get by the Packers if:

1) The game is played in New Orleans.
2) If the game is played in a cold Lambeau.

Once we get Zach Strief, Chris Ivory, and Dave Thomas back I REALLY like our running game. I think the Saints could beat the Packers in Lambeau in a game when passing isn't very effective because of the weather.

Tell that to Sean Payton, he's been making it work since 06.

and I'm sure you remember this game:

We may have been playing with two balls in that game because of all of our weapons, idk.

He most likely doesn't want to remember that game..
I enjoy reliving all ass whoopings :]

BTW, were you a Bengals fan the time you guys beat the Saints (early 2000's)?

I remember we got off to this great start and all we had to do was win one of our last four games and all were against horrible teams (you guys had won like one game) and we couldn't do it. smh

I've been a fan for about 12 years. I remember some good Saints/Bengals games. You are probably referring to 2002. I feel like the Bengals let the game get away from them last year with the offside penalty. Lost 34-30 but had a chance at winning it, played very competitively with them.

I know alot of people dog the Bengals, but I like the way yall play the game.

Yall won't let anyone just have the game, they'll really have to bust their butts to get it.

Chris Ivory went mad in that game last season lol...we get him back in the next few games (or days), that'll be a huge plus to a already stacked backfield.

That is usually why they have losing seasons, they always seem to play competitively but can rarely finish off games. Like they can be right in it, but fail to make a play when it matters most. If it wasn't for Mike Brown, it would be a completely different team/franchise, I'm just waiting for him to give it up, even though he never will. The Saints went through the same thing for a long period of time, I remember everyone calling them "Forever the Aints" and now look at them, things can change. I'm just waiting for their time to break through, like we've seen with the Saints and now the Lions and lots of others, all bad things come to an end, at some point. I hope at least. If I recall correctly, everyone always slammed Tom Benson and referred to him as being one of the worst owners in football, and then boom here they are being the team to beat.
