because Unitas isnt close to being top 3, and everyone else on this board would agree with that

Only Colts fans say Peyton and Unitas are better than Brady.

Totally different times.

Unitas dominated in a run first league.. Where it was much rougher to complete passes because there basically was no pass interference.

Brady is basically playing in a flag football league.

Unitas is arguably the most underrated QB of all-time, I'd put him Top 5, IDK about 3 though. Montana's #1, Brady #2 with a chance to pass Montana with a few more good years.

I agree with 90% of this

IMO

1. Montana
2. Brady
3. Marino
4. Favre
5. Peyton

Thank you.

The league is completely pass driven now, and it's almost getting to the point like you said where we my as well just put flags on these guys. Especially when it comes to hitting the QB.

Unitas played in a completely ruthless era, where guys were allowed to do a lot of stuff that would be deemed terrible in today's day and age of football. Don't go and call Danny a homer when he just asked you a question, and because you can't argue, you take a shot.

I dont know why, but the Patriots right now are being considered the frontrunners for Brandon Lloyd.

There is no reason to go after him. We already have too many offensive weapons, there is no reason for another

How can you judge a player you've never watched? And looking purely at stats is deceiving in most cases.

I don't have a top five QB list for that reason. It's really too tough to judge these players.

I'm just saying, before we run and jump the gun to label guys playing right now as the best ever. Let's not forget about the past. With the past, comes the great run of eras which were really driven by running the football and then passing second. In today's NFL, the running back position is becoming lesser and lesser, which is why in the Draft we're seeing the RB talents slipping until the later rounds for the most part.

Guys like Unitas, Otto Graham, etc. can't be forgotten because they played a long time ago.
