Then why sit here and try to say Gabbert wasn't good and debate about the stats?

Sounds like to me you realized your wrong.. now your trying to say it doesn't matter.

Bye
Because it was two plays that pretty much counted for everything he did, when you look at the stats -- 15/28 - 221 YDS - 1 TD - 0 INT makes it look like he played a really nice game, which he played a solid game for an inexperienced Rookie, I'm not saying he played horrible by any means. Who cares if he played better than Dalton, the Bengals won the game and Dalton came through in the end when the Bengals needed him most. He's done that the past two weeks in crunch time, I like seeing that. Gabbert missed a wide open Lewis in the end-zone, had he thrown an accurate ball in that situation, the Jaguars might have won the game.

So what about when fucking Chris Johnson had a shitty game against the Jags a year back outside of a long TD run in the 4th QTR when they should of took a knee and finished the game on Monday Night Football?

Exactly.. Don't fault a player because he makes a play or 2. Gabbert did have a good game, didn't make really any mistakes. If it wasn't for the Brad Meester early snap, then Gabbert might have took the team down the field to win the game.

Also.

"Dalton came through in the end when we needed him"

What did he do? Hand the ball off for a TD?

On the Gresham 1st down.. Should of been a delay of game.. go look at the replay.. Officials never called it.. Clock was on 00 for atleast 2/3 seconds.

He made mistakes, he missed a wide open WR for a TD, threw a couple balls to Bengal defenders that were dropped. Like I've said all through this, he didn't play horribly and he didn't play great. He had a decent game for an inexperienced QB. You've just done this every week, you said the same thing after the Saints game and Nola said he didn't play all that well, several dropped INT's etc. He was taken in the first round, 10th overall, he should be playing well. I'm not taking anything away from him, I'm just saying he didn't do much in between them two big plays throughout the game. You can dispute that all you want, it's just the truth.

He put them in position to be able to hand the ball off for the short TD run. Granted they were given excellent field position because of a horrible punt, but he did what he had to in that situation. The week before what he did against the Bills was much more impressive. I just think that's good when the Bengals went for it twice on 4 & 6 instead of kicking the field goal, that shows they have some confidence in him to get the first down. The Jaguars set up to fail from the opening coin toss when they decided to take a 25+ MPH wind in their face in the 4th quarter, that was stupid on their part.

On the Jaguars decision not to take the wind in the fourth quarter:
“That’s not our call. It’s their call and they chose the wind in third quarter. They asked me the same question earlier but that’s really not my decision; it’s their decision. It worked out for us today.”

When are people going to admit that Cam is legit? He hasn't been great, but he's been great for a rookie QB. Carolina's 4 losses certainly aren't on him, the least amount of points they scored in a loss was 28 this year.

He is legit, I've been very impressed with him. I thought they might beat the Saints yesterday, they were close.

Cam has been playing very well. Carolina has been in a rough spot, especially defensively when they lost their leader and stud Jon Beason out for the year.

I was really pulling for them to beat the Saints..

I thought Cam at #1 was an easy decision off his upside alone for the Panthers, never expected him to be this good this early though.

I don't care about the stats, I care about the whose in the win/loss column at the end of the day.
Now that's an extremely flawed logic. Let me give you an example why.

Example A 26/33 4 TDs, 1 INT, yet the team loses 31-41.
Example B 10/26 1 TD, 3 INTs, yet the team wins 13-3

Is Example B better because his team was able to bail him out? I wouldn't say that's the truth at all, because football is the ultimate team sport. If we are talking teams this is the case, but when it pertains to comparing individual players I would disagree.

I never said Dalton played better than Gabbert, never once said it. I said Gabbert was decent, nothing more, nothing less. I know how it all works, no need to explain anything to me. Players and coaches could care less about stats, they just care about winning when all said and done. Winning cures everything, I'm just glad they won the game yesterday, they tried on multiple occasions to give that game away. It was ugly, but I'll take it.

If the Lions beat the Bears tonight, Ill call them legit. Playing on monday night and facing a division foe who won the division last year is big. Also helps them keep pace with the Packers.

I think he has everyone's attention, just think, you'll be having to contend with him for years to come. lol
I'm still holding out hope.

All I heard was how Matt Ryan was the next Manning or Brady when he's developed into Matt Cassel or Kyle Orton.

I really, really thought that we would beat KC this week. The problem is that we continue to make poor decisions (Cutting Tryon most recently) and we blow 17 point home leads. I mean, Coyer must be the shittiest defensive co-ordinator in the entire NFL letting Lacey get roasted by Bowe, ALL game. No adjustments.
Lacey got shitted on....Once Muir finally realized that all he had to do was run on the inside and throw slants to D-Bowe/Breaston....I knew that the game had changed hands. Painter didn't look bad at all. Clark didn't help either with his 2-3 drops. He had a huge drop before on 3rd down I believe where he tried to one hand catch a pass.

Because some random guy on Twitter said so?
Hows he some random guy? One of the Jags more trusted sources.

As you can see here, Gabbert is staring at Marcedes during the dropback, as he steps up, he switches to Jason Hill. Leon Hall was playing Zone and expecting Reggie Nelson over the top. Reggie Nelson thought Blaine was going to try to squeeze it into Marcedes so he went to go jump the route. Blaine then successfully looked him off and had Jason HIll wide open.

Pretty obvious.
