I did such a piss poor job picking the games this week. I outsmarted myself I guess you could say.

I changed a lot of picks this week and I don't think any of them helped me. Indy vs KC, Buff vs Phi, Pitt vs Tenn, SF vs Tampa. If I would have stayed with my original pick I would have won all of those. Lesson learned.
We will all have them kind of weeks at some point.

Cheers.

Should be a good game tonight, hopefully resulting in a Lions win.

Smh.... no u didnt.
They see hope for the future, many cough people cough anticipated the Jaguars being a contender for the division this year, thankfully for Del Rio, Gabbert has saved the day for him as owner Weaver likes the direction the team is headed, with an inexperienced QB and no WR's being the reason for the losing this year, it's not at all Del Rio's fault. As expected with the extension, they also expect a complete sellout for next years home games.

;)

I hear he will be fired if they get blown out by PIT
Well, I'm here to say that they will. That Pittsburgh defense will eat their offense alive. From what I seen yesterday, Gabbert will be in for a long day against the Steelers. He didn't play horrible by any means, but he didn't play good either, the conditions were not ideal. He just doesn't have anything aside from Jones-Drew. Just seems like the team is so dull, must take after their head coach, the offense is so predictable. Just stop Maurice Jones-Drew and you will win. They just don't play with any motivation whatsoever.

I did not say anything about Dalton whatsoever in my post saying he played better, so I'm not sure where that came from. Gabbert played good on the very first series of the game and didn't do much after that, he had some fluke 75 yard TD that was a complete blown coverage, wasn't a Bengal within 15 yards of the receiver. Neither did much, like I said his first drive of the game was the best he played all game, after that it wasn't much.

So.... Should we put a fuckin * next to his stats because the Bengals fault?

The fuck out of here with that Bullshit.

Also, the Blown coverage was Reggie Nelson, pure reason why we traded his wack ass.

Also, Gabbert had atleast 4/5 dropped passes.

That 1 drop by Marcedes in the endzone which would of put Gabbert to 2 TD's.

Had a couple of drops by Cecil Shorts/Mike Thomas.

I'm here to say any QB in the NFL would have been able to complete that pass. You just aren't being realistic at all. The first drive of the game he took them down the field 80 yards and scored a TD, that was an impressive drive. After that, he did completely nothing, aside from that blown coverage pass that was caught, that was just bad just bad communication.

So lets see.. He threw for 221 yards total, 80 of which came on the FIRST drive of the game, which takes it down to 141 yards. He threw a 74 yard pass with no Bengal in sight, that takes it down to 67 yards. He did absolutely nothing from the first drive and that blown up play the Bengals had later in the game. Two plays made up for everything he had, otherwise they were punting every series, going 3-and-out most of the time. One or two big plays doesn't make up for the entire game, for an inexperienced Rookie, it wasn't a bad performance, but you make him look a lot better than what he's really shown.

LMFAO.

Should we really take a look at Daltons stats?

The TD pass to Green was a blown coverage..

It is what it is, and it happened.. Don't try to say Gabbert isn't good because your shitty free safety fucked up.

Next topic. Final stats are 221 yards.. You can't just take off 74 because of a blown coverage... the fuck out of here.. Now you're not being realistic.

Gabbert played decent to me, not saying he was great.. but you made it seem like he was horrible..

I don't care about the stats, I care about the whose in the win/loss column at the end of the day.

Then why sit here and try to say Gabbert wasn't good and debate about the stats?

Sounds like to me you realized your wrong.. now your trying to say it doesn't matter.

You win with stats, unless your QB didn't contribute at all to the team and won, which can happen.

QB can't do it all, and sometimes he does nothing and still wins..
