And Calvin has been playing with an injured ankle just about all year, big deal.

Fred Jackson is a better running back then Adrian Peterson, anyone want to debate that without bringing up the past?

Like Rip said, what does the past matter?
And yards don't mean shit. Do yards put points on the board? And he wasn't even first last year, check stats before you make claims. He was 6th.
" You need to read before you post. "

Since when does 'pretty much' mean 'every'?

And yeah, 6th in yards missing 3 games is really fucking awful huh? Not like he lead the league in yards per game like I said in the last page.

We are talking about now though. It's totally different. Calvin doesn't have as long of a past, and is now coming into his prime. As of now, with both of them in the prime, Calvin is better.

I was saying that he got hurt and left the game just in case you tried to say he didn't have a good game this week...

And I'm saying Calvin has been playing at a high level with a nagging injury.

Right now, Chris Johnson is not a good running back, I think it's clear because you know, 4 games are everything, and we should just erase his body of work over his career because it's the past.

That's not what he's saying. It only applies to Calvin Johnson because he happens to be supporting him.

I also forgot to mention how Tom Brady is a big interception threat, because he's going to have a minimum of 5 INTs by the end of week 4. What does the past matter?

You act as if Calvin was some garbage WR coming out of no where to play well.
For the last couple seasons Calvin was considered a top 5 WR. And now he is reaching his prime.
I just don't see right now, how you can sit there and say you'd take Andre Johnson over Calvin Johnson. You will take him cause he had a great deal of receiving yards in 08 and 09?
I mean in 08, Calvin had a couple hundred yards less receiving, but had 4 more TD's (might I add Andre had I believe 30+ more receptions).
Calvin also has a career higher yards per catch.

You guys are acting as if Andre was on another fucking level from Calvin, and he wasn't. And now Calvin is playing at the highest level of his career, and you fail to recognize that because of Andre's greatness in 08 and 09.

And I'm not even saying Calvin is heaps better than Andre. Andre is still an incredible WR. But as of right now, I'd give the nod to Calvin. If you disagree, then so be it. I just wouldn't take any receiver over Calvin.

The immaturity of some of the older members is hilarious.
I thought only 13 year old's got butt hurt.

#1 in Yards per game for a receiver in 2010, 2009 and 2007, and #2 in 2008, is a pretty good point. Those are just made up numbers though.

Numbers don't matter unless they support his side, you forgot.
