Better yet

The REDSKINS, BILLS and LIONS are 8-0 lol
I'm not a Redskins fan tho, and they have been semi relevant in the last decade. Plus all 3 of those teams are bunched up in the same region.

How many teams have had to play the likes of the Packers pass offense and the Texans pass offense in two of their first three games?

The two best offenses on our schedule are already gone. I don't remember the exact number but the remaining teams the Saints play average under 300 yards per game.

You basically just contradicted what you originally said.
I made a conclusion bout your team being a bad defense 3 weeks in, and you gave a thought as to why they aren't.

Point being, 3 weeks in.

Nah, the Lions were the 6th worst pass D in 2008. Worst run D, and worst overall D that year, but not worst pass D.

And Detroit gave up 404.4 YPG that year.... Pats on pace for 479.0 YPG allowed this year

and yet we still have a +84 YPG from our offense over our D lol

Don't jump off a cliff because you lost to the Bills, they are just finding ways to win right now... I'm pretty certain the Patriots will be fine and you'll be clamoring them as the best team in the NFL in about 2-3 weeks. ;)

Although most of the time he does, the Patriots aren't going to win games unless Tom Brady plays a perfect game.

Like I said, three games in is more than enough to form opinions.

My opinion? The Saints defense has played two of the top offenses and everything is just down hill from here. Have we looked good on defense? No, but I don't expect a defense like ours to hold those teams to 20 points on offense.

Im not jumping cliff man, I thought the Bills were gonna be decent this year, but they are better than expected. I had a feeling this would be our first loss before seasons start.

Injuries didnt help (Ras-I and Patty Chung, Haynesworth, Hernandez, Vollmer all DNP)

Brady needs to not turn the ball over, and we'll win. We threw 2 picks into the endzone, and threw a pick-6 as well. There's 21 points right there. Easy Pats win if we dont fuck up

I thought the experts were crazy for picking the Raiders over the Jets, but they were actually right.. Most of them anyways.. McFadden 171 rushing yards on only 19 attempts... Damn

Well... Brady is human, it happens. Can't be perfect every weekend. We'll all be talking about how the Bills are 4-0 after next weekend.

Has anyone heard the story about Steve Gleason? If you don't remember, he's the guy who blocked the punt against the Falcons in the Dome reopening but he was a fan favorite for his excellent special teams play before that.

Well he's now battling for his life with Lou Gehrig's disease, and yesterday was the first time he was seen in the "public eye" and he just announced it a few days ago. He was a honorary captain for the game yesterday and led the who dat chant. It's really sad to see what the disease has done to him, he could barely walk under his own power

I heard about that, but didn't remember who he played for. I know it's not primarily a baseball thing, but that's the first time I've heard of a football player getting it. Those pictures are pretty telling of the effects, especially the last one. Sad to hear that.

As for the game yesterday, I liked it. The only thing I didn't like, was the lack of offense in the 1st half, but the defense kept us in that game, and when we started scoring, they held strong. I wasn't worried at all, once I heard about the Vikings blowing the big half time leads the 1st two games. There were things here and there I didn't like, but that happens. Overall thing that matters is the W.

I was just thinking the other day what happened to Gleason, I remember watching him play at Washington State cause my dad's an alum so I grew up a Coug fan. I didn't realize he had Lou Gehrig's disease until I read it yesterday. Terrible news.
