Every time he comes up and does something well it just seems to lift the spirits of everybody in the dugout.

Nicely done. 90th win of the season. My thoughts about splitting the start with Scherzer and Fister was the see who will be the #2 starter, and possibly also who could do better coming in, if they had to spot start. That's my guess.

Both guys looked good. Started out slow, but after that looked good.

or just accept they only called up montero for september and leave andruw/posada as DH in the playoffs

or just leave posada off like i think you want.

There's no doubt in my mind that Fister will be the #2 pitcher, he is the better pitcher and that's just the truth.
