Kershaw sucks because the Dodgers aren't a playoff team.
Lol, I love how half of your posts are just posts of putting words into other peoples mouths.
I've said multiple times Kershaw deserves the NL Cy-Young.

Kershaw sucks because the Dodgers aren't a playoff team. Same goes for Kemp
obviously

sadly, this is why kemp wont win mvp over ryan braun and kershaw may not win over halladay
though i'd be ok if kershaw didnt win

And I love how your argument against Kershaw not getting as much praise as Verlander is because the Dodgers are shitty, even though they're not actually shitty, just average.

I said the reason he isn't getting as much recognition is because he plays for the Dodgers.
Please tell me any other reason he shouldn't have as much recognition? It's obviously because the Dodgers aren't a good team.
If the Dodgers were a playoff team of course Kershaw would be getting more recognition.
That's not suppose to be a slight on Kershaw.

Because Verlander is a better pitcher.
What is there not to understand?

they are having really similar seasons, you could make the case that CC has been better considering his park and competition

The Dodgers being a good/bad team should not diminish what Kershaw is doing, because he has absolutely no impact on the rest of his team's starting pitchers and his teams offense.

As I edited into that post, I said it's not suppose to be a slight to Kershaw.
I'm merely stating why Kershaw isn't getting the recognition he deserves.
I obviously realize that his team's play shouldn't affect his praise, but it is. Point blank.

Verlander is getting over-hyped simply because of MVP talk. Pitchers have had better years in recent seasons and haven't gotten any MVP play whatsoever.

Did I ever once say he deserved the MVP though?
I honestly don't give a fuck about the MVP talk. Nor have I ever condoned of him winning the MVP.
But that doesn't take away from the fact he is the best pitcher in baseball right now.
And the fact he is being mentioned as an MVP reflects on that.

Zack Greinke's 2009 season > Verlander's 2011 season.

Finished 17th in MVP voting and never got any media recognition for it.

You saying that he's not being overhyped is saying that he deserves to be MVP because that's the kind of hype he's getting.

They're directly correlated.

The type of hype he's getting from who?
Outside of the biased idiots in Detroit, I haven't heard much MVP talk at all.
You guys must have selective hearing or something.

Erm...on ESPN on the SportsNation poll, they asked who should be the AL MVP. Verlander won in a landslide.

It has been talked about a ton on ESPN, MLB Network, and various sports outlets.

Whether people are saying that he deserves it or not, they're talking about it and talk is hype.

I'll give you that he should have had more recognition for it but care to explain to me how exactly he had a better season?
