Fuck school and work.

Can't remember the last time I've been able to watch a full Yankees game.

Yankees are basically locked into a playoff spot barring a miracle. Time to sort out our fucking rotation because this 6-man rotation is complete bullshit. We completely ruined CC's season with that shit. Girardi is too much of a fucking pussy to tell someone they're moving to the bullpen.

Hughes needs to move into the bullpen, it worked in 2009, it will work again. He'll be able to unleash his fastball and get it back to the mid-90's if he's only going for one inning again and he'll be effective.

If the Yankees starter leaves with a lead, good luck coming back against Hughes, Soriano, K-Rob, and Mariano.

If CC can give us 7/8 innings every outing in the post-season than we really only need 6 innings out of Nova/Colon/Garcia/Burnett.

I would love to see the Rays make the playoffs instead of this "all-mighty" Red Sox team everyone was talking about in the off-season.

To be honest, the Yankees are really the only team that I can see beating Philly because they're the only team that I can see being able to hit their rotation.

Still think Philly wins it all though.

Really long post for no reason.

They're also going to lose David Ortiz for some of the games. Who are the Yankees gonna lose? Jorge Posada?

Not to mention that Youk hasn't been healthy for awhile now.

there is this fake peter gammons twitter account that is hilarious
http://twitter.com/#!/FakePeteGammons

On plus side, blowout loss last night let world get glimpse of #Redsox top prospects who are best in game. Future is bright thanks to Theo!

Just because Theo didn't draft Lester or trade for Beckett doesn't mean he can't develop SP. Weiland, Bowden, Tazawa among best in game.

Just spoke w/Big Papi. Assured me if they lose tonight, he would club tomorrow's Tampa SP to death before gametime. One of the good guys.

Just spoke w/a top front office exec who said #Redsox are best team ever no matter where they finish. Theo Epstein then went on to say......If Josh Beckett can't beat the Rays tonight I expect him to triumphantly drill them w/pitches until he's ejected! This is Peter Gammons.

lmao

It's pretty clear the Rockies rushed back Alex White.. The Indians weren't going to put him back in the rotation this year, but for some reason the Rockies just threw him out there, and he can't put together a good start.

Carlos Santana's got 25 bombs and is 3rd in the AL in walks in his first full season in the MLB.

Certainly can't take our foot off the peddle. Lot of shit to do still.

Rick wasn't awful today, but Perry sure as fuck put the nail in the coffin.
Dude is so bad.

Yeah no shit lol. I was surprised they went that hard with a game the next day haha.
I read they had non-alcoholic shit, as well as the alcoholic stuff. But I guess Miggy stayed away from both, and was just using water bottles. Good shit.

I don't mind Perry, honestly. I think he's generally good for the most part but he has his bad days, as does everyone.

Can't stand him. Seems he has more bad days than good days.
He's still young though, hopefully he gets more consistent.

You know the Tigers are soft because they get hangovers...

David Wells partied hard and then threw a perfect game the next day ;)

I was wondering where the hell Miggy was. I watched the post game stuff and couldn't find him at all, until like an hour into it, and when they talked to him. The best part was Victor. I can understand him, a bit, when he's talking, but I could understand him perfectly in that interview. Cracked me up. Was starting every response with "You know what man" and stuff like that lol
