Denver Post - One week into the 2011 season, there is already a renewed quarterback controversy in Denver.

Fans booed Kyle Orton and chanted for Tim Tebow late in Monday night's game between the Broncos and Raiders. Oakland won the game 23-20 in Denver.

The booing of Orton started early in the fourth quarter after the Raiders scored a touchdown. While Tebow was in uniform, he did not play a snap in the game.

That's what happens when you don't give a dude the chance to prove himself. He shows up in games and thats where it counts.

I don't think Tebow is complete crap, but he is their #3 QB.

So maybe the fans should switch to the Brady Quinn bandwagon, cause he's closer to playing than Tebow.

But the fans are dumb, Orton is fine, he just had a bad game.

that's the biggest problem broncos fans have, he's so consistently mediocre. we want a gunslinger like elway or cutler.

Lets just get this over with, give him a chance to prove himself. He played pretty well last year and well in the preseason this year, so why not? Its not like the Broncos are a QB away from the Super Bowl.

It is pretty clear that Elway doesn't like the kid. Though Elway doesn't make the calls on the field, he does influence what John Fox is going to do.

Broncos Irked By Quarterback Debate

Josina Anderson/ESPN.com - A number of Broncos are upset over the public debate over the team's starting quarterback.

Fans booed Kyle Orton and chanted for Tim Tebow in Monday night's loss to the Raiders.

"I think it's all B.S.," Brandon Lloyd said. "I think everybody is just waiting for an opportunity to move (Orton) out and play anybody other than him."

Even though Orton was among 14 quarterbacks who threw for over 300 yards in the opening week, the John Fox-John Elway Era started in defeat.

"Kyle is our starter. He's a human being just like we all are. Sometimes things don't go the way that you want them to go, but you can't just be so quick to jump ship. (Kyle) is going to bounce back and everybody is going to be happy," linebacker Jason Hunter said.

I'm still pretty much against it lol.
