Watching the Browns try to block people and fail with the back ups in today makes me appreciate JT and Alex Mack more.

Good enough to be third string? ;)

I don't think I'm going to be the only one in for a long season, Jaguars just don't look very good. I'm not saying this to slam Kambo, because everyone likes to get him going, but the Jaguars are in for a top 5 pick, top 10 for sure.

Cool.. Alshon Jeffrey for Gabbert would do wonders.

Gabbert isn't quite ready to start yet, but he was the 3rd QB because they wanted Luke McCown to get some reps with the first team because he hasn't had any all preseason and he needs to be ready incase of injuries. Gabbert still has grew bigtime from the 1st preseason game to the 4th. Last game he stood in the pocket, didn't run whenever pressure got in his face and completed plenty of big gains down the field. Didn't just dump it off like I've seen with other rookies at the QB position this preseason. Gabbert will start sometime this year, in reality hes only been in camp for not even a month, the offseason was non existent.

As for the Jaguars, I feel we'll do better than what most people think. Eugene Monroe has shed 20 pounds in the offseason due to a lockout and thats one of the problems with him, but since the preseason has started, he's put on a little bit more weight and he'll be comfortable and excel. The Texans aren't going to sell me of a 10 win team until it finally happens, until then, it's the same as every other "Texans are going to win it all this year" prediction, which happens every year. Colts look like they've lost a step. The AFC South will be up for Grabs, also we're getting 2 of the possibly best players of the Jags back in Maurice Jones-Drew (Who looks pretty good this year) and Aaron Kampman. Both will be ready September 11th VS the Titans and I fully expect Maurice to have 1,000+ yards this season. The offense will grow and gel together, not all of the starters have been on the field at the same time during the preseason.

On the defensive side we've always had backups playing with the 1st string because we've had injuries. Whenever we play the Titans though, everybody body will be back and theres no doubt in my mind that the Jags could have a top 15 defense this year. I'm not the only person to say this either, its been between the media, Peter King, ETC. Jags defense looks hungry and fast this year.

I'm not exactly sure what you've been watching, but if Garrard doesn't get the Job done early, then it'll be Gabberts job to lose and I fully expect us to take some bumps along the way, but Gabbert has the feel of a franchise QB and I expect him to do big things with this franchise. I see us right now as a 9-7/8-8 team. If we don't make the playoffs then Del Rio will be fired and we'll more than likely get way better in the offseason with a Alshon Jeffrey WR.

Nothing but a promising future as a Jaguar fan. We'll be fine this year.

I've been watching ESPN, who said Gabbert will most likely be the #3 QB. But they could be wrong, we'll see.

Gabbert will be the #3 QB for the opener.. doesn't mean the rest of the season. Hes not ready yet, and if Garrard goes down, why throw a rookie in there? Don't want us to end up like the Bengals. ;)
