You're acting like he hit it down the line, he hit it to right center.

Your hate for Russell Martin and constantly crying about Yankee Stadium is amusing though.

just russell
im just pissed because he didnt hit for pop the past 2 years. all of a sudden he goes to yankee stadium, and he's hitting homers left and right.
and everyone is going nuts. all he;s doing better than last year is homers, but that was expected going to a HR happy stadium

i dont care about the others lol
keep hitting dingers

i would root for the yanks in the WS if they faced the phils or nlw
and if they play the angels, go yanks

He has more homers on the road than at home, your argument is invalid.

his road homers are at US Cellular, Fenway, and Baltimore. hitters parks
props to his Target and Kaufmen homers

SMH. i look like an ass discounting his homers at homer parks. im not trying to be. good for him
can we be done with this?

i stand by what i said
all he's doing better than last year is slugging

And? He was brought in to be a backup catcher, and now he is basically our starter and has hit 17 homers with a good amount of RBI and some SBs and crap too. LA obviously didn't do enough to keep him if he bolted for a job where he was going to share time.

I hate that ballpark arguement. I mean yeah, it matters, but if it was that much of an edge MLB wouldn't allow it, and everyone would be at 50+ homers. But they aren't.

i just read Russell's avg HR is 392 feet

you know what, good.

1. i want my GM fired yesterday
2. i still have love for Russell. he was a great Dodger. really am happy for him

always thought his ability to block balls in the dirt was underrated. he has 1 GG, but still underrated

If only the Indians were closer in the race.. This Thome move would have been similar to when we picked up Lofton in 07 and took over first place from Detroit. Fan favorite returns, team gets hot.
