After coming into the NBA with a TON of hype, Conley has seemingly failed to live up to the player that everyone thought the start point guard out of Ohio State would be. I'm not so sure that you can come close to calling him a bust. Let's take a look at his stats over the last couple seasons.

2010-2011: 13.7 PPG, 1.8 SPG, 6.5 APG, 3.1 RPG

2009-2010: 12.0 PPG, 1.4 SPG, 5.3 APG, 2.4 RPG

2008-2009: 10.9 PPG, 1.1 SPG, 4.3 APG, 3.4 RPG

So when you look at those stats, you realize that he's getting better in almost every category each year he plays. Granted, he's had a career that people weren't expecting for him. Many thought he'd come right into the league and be a top point guard within his first 3-4 seasons, and that hasn't happened, but he's leading his team well, playing good defense, and slowly raising his level of gameplay.

So all that being said, what do you guys think of Mike Conley? How good is this guy really?

Thoughts?

Average starting PG with room to improve.

Kind of a meh player that is getting better. He's undersized and doesn't have the best ball handling, but has great speed up and down the court. Decent shooter, but struggles to get his own shot.

I think his ceiling is around 17 and 8. Which is actually a pretty good PG in this league.

He showed flashes last season with several games of 20 and 10 assists I do believe...somewhere around that. So he can play, but I think that he would be more like a 16 and 7ish guy.

He's been underutilized his entire career mainly.

He's really never had the chance to actually run an offense in Memphis.

he reminds me the Felton situation when he was in Charlotte, his number was very similar to those right here, maybe he would be better in other team...
