The Dolphins may have Clinton Portis on Monday, but it doesn’t look like they’ll sign him.
Instead, they are going for another aging running back that we figured was probably done in the NFL. Miami announced the signing of former Chiefs and Redskins running back Larry Johnson.
Back in those days when he was with Kansas City and putting up HUGE numbers every season. He's just never going to be good again after they ran him into the ground, it's just not going to happen. Portis would have been a much better option at this point in their careers. Bad decision by Miami.

Thoughts?

Larry Johnson isn't very good anymore, I would have definitely went with Clinton Portis, but obviously the Dolphins think otherwise.

FYI, Bush won the national title for USC in 04
And? Your point is? What does that have to do with the NFL and the Dolphins?

Also, Larry Johnson was irrelevant in 2004, so your statement still = invalid.

Irrelevant?

Bush won the Heisman and took USC to the Title Game in 2005.
Johnson had his best season in 2005.

I was saying that they were signing guys who had their best year in 05. That's all. No need to be an ass

Can't say that about Bush considering he wasn't in the NFL.. I'm not being an ass, just hate stupid remarks.

Really? I can't say Bush was his best in 05? The fact that he was drafted 2nd overall, when people thought he should have gone #1, all because of his 05 campaign

Yep, I'm the one with stupid remarks

Bush was drafted that high because he was a beast throughout college.

You can't say its 2005 and that the Dolphins are acting like its 2005 because Reggie Bush hasn't did shit in the NFL..

If the Bills signed Ryan Leaf.. would this be 1997 all over again? Nope.. Judge them on their NFL Careers, not the College Careers.. the 2 careers are not related in any way at all.. Totally different.

eh, Larry's done. If he's fresh maybe he can still break a tackle or two, so if they got him cheap, i can see why.
