I was having a debate with one of my buddies on this subject, and I want to get your opinions on this. Should the Pistons bring back Stuckey? I believe they should, but my buddy says no because he'll cost a lot and just get in the way of letting Knight develop. Interested to hear your thoughts.

it all depends on money. he just switched to leon rose as his agent which means he'll probably want a ton of money and dumars is that dumb to give it to him.

for me, he still doesnt have a true position. id rather have him off the bench as our combo guard 6th man. hes not a real point guard and i dont think a backcourt of knight/stuckey will work. but if stuckey gets an $8Mill deal id be happy. if he wants anymore id let him walk.

I wouldn't even give him $8 million. I would start him around $6.5 or $7 million. I'd like to see Knight and Gordon start at the two guard spots, then Stuckey coming off the bench as the 6th man like Pugz said to back up those two spots.

id be happy with $8Mill, now that doesnt mean i wanna see im start out at $8Mill. our roster is such a mess, it just makes it hard for me to even think of ways to fix it.

Depends on the contract, but ultimately I would like Stuckey back on the team.

My question for you then becomes Rip, where do you see him playing? Shooting guard? Point guard? What? And if he does play point guard, would he start or come off the bench behind Brandon Knight?

After drafting Knight, I see Stuckey at the 2. And playing point when Knight is not in the game.
I think he would also start over Gordon at shooting guard.

we already planned on having him play the two for us but if he isnt looking at a $6-$7.5Mill deal then we need to let him go or look for a trade.

I do wonder why it is taking so long to sign him though.
