Things need to change because most of the league is losing money, with the exception of the big markets. Players want to play in specific cities and you cant change that, but what you can change is receiving compensation for teams that lose star players. The exact same way that MLB teams who cant afford to pay their players, they receive compensatory draft picks which helps them out.

A franchise tag is necessary also. Players need to be reminded that the owners are called that because they, ya know, own the team and thus the players.

I'm sure most players would rather live and compete in a small city here then in some random foreign country.

You take the Bobcats from Charlotte and watch how the crime rate rises... Same thing happened when they took the Hornets.

Especially if the Panthers continue to suck.

What does that say about society that people have a need to do things are illegal and immoral because a professional basketball team left their city?

I think one of the Cali teams would be one of the first out. The Lakers being the only lock to stay

It has nothing to do with super teams. It has to do with the fact that everybody wants to play in the big markets. Miami, New York, Boston, LA, Chicago. Now there's the talk of Jersey wanting to attract the top players.
That's how every sport is smh

Nnamdi Asomugha's top 3 targets were Philly, Jets, Cowboys. Why? They are the big market teams, not Oakland

Saying that's just an NBA issue is crazy

I never said crime was a joke, but not getting rid of the Bobcats because the crime rate is going to go up is a joke.

Who the fuck asked you if the crime rate was going to go up if the Bobcats left? Nobody, same thing for whether or not I thought it was a good reason.

Clearly not a fact if the Bobcats haven't left yet to see the crime rate rise.

I don't give a fuck if somebody takes this as racism, but black people on this site are so fucking sensitive it's ridiculous.

I said the crime rate will rise cause the same thing happened when the hornets left, so to expect it to happen again (since the city has since grown in population and crime rate) is as good as a fact.

The last line is uncalled for, the fuck does my race have anything to do with this? I responded to your smart ass post with a smart ass post, next time come at me better.

It's not a fact as it hasn't happened yet.

You, pm7, and $tunna always take it personal when someone has a different opinion than you do and it's ridiculous.
