Wow the Pirates signed Josh Bell. Was thought to be unsignable and they took him in the 2nd round. Top tier talent.

Consistency isn't your problem, your pitching just isn't good.
Nah, that's not what I was getting at. One game they can look unstoppable, then come back and be pulled by the third inning, just gets irritating. I don't have much against our starting rotation other than Brad Penny. I'm not saying it's a great rotation, but decent.

He's right tho, outside of Verlander, the Tigers rotation is just not good.. Porcello had an okay rookie year, but followed it up last year with a terrible year and he is repeating that year. Scherzer has a good arm, but his secondary stuff has always been inconsistent. Penny sucks, Fister is average.

Porcello has always been overrated
Scherzer was dealt at the right time by AZ. they were going to make him a bullpen arm anyways

I remember when DH or whatever he goes by now said Porcello be a CY Young winner, just because he was from Jersey lol.

Porcello is still young, he doesn't worry me that much, yet. Just never know what they are going to do, that's the bad thing.

Yeah, for the most part they have been doing fine this year, I'm not going to worry about it. Like I said, the only guy that scares me is Brad Penny because you know going into every game with him pitching, you need at least 5 runs.

lol why do we hate?
because they suck

but i'll be honest. it's a little deeper for me
when Porcello was a rookie, he was a year behind Kershaw
everyone was jizzing over him and how young and good he is, and Kershaw got NO love. i was pissed. they're both the same age

but i've been getting that way. Kershaw hasnt gotten any love until this year which is sad. but every other team's young pitcher always gets more pub.
This will be Kershaw's 3rd straight sub-3 ERA, and he's 23!

as for Max. i've just never liked him because i hate the dbacks

That's not a valid reason, lol.

valid reasoning is too easy with Scherzer.
too many baserunners with him and too HR prone

anyways
a yankees/tigers playoff series would be great

game 1 is a great matchup
everything else is questionable starting pitching vs good offenses
