I wouldn't go that far.. Granderson is putting up huge power numbers, but the Tigers ballpark is much bigger and harder to hit homers. Plus, Curtis Granderson isn't a good defensive player, while Austin Jackson is an elite defensive player.. Helps a ton when playing in Comerica.

But honestly, the Dbacks smoked that deal. Ended up with Ian Kennedy and Edwin Jackson, and then traded Jackson for Daniel Hudson.

Coming off the year Granderson had for us, I would of traded him as well. Dude could not hit lefties to save his fucking life lol.

Austin won't ever be much of an offensive player, but his defense is a huge weapon. Him robbing people of RBIs, is basically the same as him driving in runs on offense, just isn't recorded on the scorecard.

Yeah, I know. But I don't think he is going to be a career .240 hitter, or whatever he is currently hitting. I think he will just be an pretty effective leadoff hitter for years to come. Maybe in the .280 range.

I'm not saying Jackson is terrible by any means, he's great defensively, there's no denying that. All of the strikeouts just drive me nuts, but I'm not ready to give up on him.

Posada is playing like a man possessed. He was most definitely pissed about the benching and doesn't wanna give Girardi a reason to have to bench him again. 3-3 with 6 RBIs with a grand slam.

I couldn't watch the game, so I listened to it on the radio. A great one to listen to. Glad the deficit happened early in the game so there was plenty left to get it back. Cabby hitting near .400 in his 11 game hit streak, just beastly. Valverde got his 35th save and Scherzer with his 12th win, finally. 4th times a charm lol.


Speaking of hitting streaks, nice to see Uggla keep his going. Not just with hits but with the power aspect as well.

Hell of a comeback for the Tigers today.
Max had a horrible inning, but for the most part pitched well I guess lol. Glad we managed to pull that one out.

I turned the game on, they were losing 5-1. Next thing the Tigers did was score like 5 runs in like the 6th inning. to take the 6-5 lead, it was nice. Can't believe Baltimore waited that long to pull their starting pitcher. Sounds familiar.

I wasn't surprised. He'd been a pest to the Tigers in the past, and that all happened with two outs, so they were hoping he could get through the inning, but didn't happen. Both starters had a blunder inning, but overall both pitched well.

Now let's see what Fister can do.

Well, sometimes if you look at it that way, it'll cost you. You can generally tell when a pitcher just doesn't have it, even with two outs. I mean they had like 8 hits in a row, let it go from a four run lead to a one run deficit, that was costly for them. If managers always look at it that way, I can see why games are blown.
