another source saying were running the 4-3The Patriots have looked thin at defensive end in training camp, with Jermaine Cunningham (second year) and Eric Moore (sixth year) running with the top group as part of a four-man line. Ellis has played in both 3-4 and 4-3 schemes in his time with the Jets.
....another source saying were running the 4-3
AS PART OF A 4 MAN LINE.....
Only thing I see is where it says he's played in both 4-3 and 3-4.
Regardless of what you think.
Pats don't have the players to play 4-3.
the Jets weren't going to play him. Ryan is in love with Wilkerson, and basically named him the starter already. Ellis was a backup from the beginning. So he left to start with another team who has a shot of winning.SMH at Shaun Ellis, dudes been a Jet his whole career and now he signs with the Pats
Pats ran alot 4 DL last year.. doesn't mean they're in the 4-3.AS PART OF A 4 MAN LINE.
it literally says that, how you dont see that is mindboggling.
Anyways, we do have enough players for a 4-3. Ellis-Haynesworth-Wilfork-Cunningham is a solid 4-3 line. Jerod is a top MLB, so he'll stay. Guyton at OLB, and prolly Ninkovich there too.
Its not bad, and is probably just as good as running a 3-4.
Yeah, I saw something like that too - that they only ran from their base 3-4 package like 30-40%.LOL
If you look at the stats, the Pats played 4-3 almost more than half the time.
I saw the stat on NFL N.
UT OH. JOE THOMAS TO THE LIONS lol. i wish haha.I just realized Joe Thomas and Peyton Hillis are free agents next off-season.. We gotta get crackin on a JT extension soon..
yeah, about 60% of the timeLOL
