i'll give you Weaver's mentality

1. Maggs was showboating. It wasnt even that close to the pole, clearly a HR. hurry and run the bases. (he was extra pissed because JV was dealing and he doesnt want to lose to especially him because in his mind, that could be the difference in CY votes)

2. ok Guillen. fuck you.

3. fuck you ump. why are you warning me for?

4. idgaf. here's some high heat to avila's head. dont fuck with me tigers

it's ok dude. it's baseball
he HAD to retaliate for what Guillen did. he wasnt aiming at Avila's head. and even Avila knew it was coming. he didnt get pissed at all. props to him btw. i would have gone NUTS
Dude, Magglio does that every time it's close like that, that was nothing out of the ordinary and one of the Angel players actually said the same thing, saying Magglio always does that saying he wasn't upset with him, he was upset with Guillen.

I agree about the losing to Verlander part, however.

I'm LOLing that the Tigers are the bad guys.
Weaver is just a jackass prick.

Tigers reacted funny and shitty I guess. But it really is Weaver's fault. Magglio does what Magglio always does. And Weaver took it as an insult like a dumbass. If I was Guillen I would of done the same exact thing. Weaver is also a dick for making Verlander sit 20+ minutes between innings during a no-hitter bid. At that point in the game, I think it was clear Verlander already had the edge in the Cy Young lol. JV pitched his 2nd best game of the year against his top competition.

im on your side

i was giving you weaver's point of view

he overreacted. magglio did nothing wrong

and it started with magglio
when he was rounding the bases, or after the inning, he was yapping at cabrera
miggy must have went in the dugout and told them what weav was saying, and guillen took it from there

Yeah that is exactly how I see it as well.

Poor Weaver was crying cause Verlander was out dueling him. I agree completely, the Angels are just as much at fault for any of it. But, I would expect to see an Indians fan and whoever else to see it differently.

My point of view:

Guillen has two homeruns on the year, and Weaver is a CY Young Candidate. Guillen has little room to do what he did, winning or not.

It had nothing to do with winning or losing or being cocky, it had to do with sticking up for his teammates, that's what it had to do with. I really think if it was your team in this situation, you'd be talking differently.

He missed and got thrown out and looked more like a baby when it was all said and done, it worked out nicely and the Tigers got the win to top it off with another Verlander win.

BUT I'm over it and ready to quit talking about it, it's done with now. What was done can't be changed, time to go on.

Against the Yankees in 2009, off of Andy Petitte. It was like the second straight year someone stole home off of him.

It's just fun in general watching crazy plays offensively and defensively on there.

Well good thing we acquired Bedard. Buchholz has a stress fracture is his back and is now on the 60 Day DL.

im bummed

Dodgers top pitching prospect, Rubby De La Rosa is going to have surgery. I think Tommy John
sucks man
he was having a solid rookie year. he's been better than Kershaw and Billingsley their rookie years
yesterday was rough though and must have been when it happened

he's not a big guy. 5'10, 170. but his stuff is incredible.
throws 100, and his changeup is 90

sucks. i hope he's ok.
