Former Bills and Jaguars quarterback Trent Edwards reached agreement with Oakland on a one-year deal to back up Jason Campbell.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press' Jeremy Fowler reports the Vikings are "out of the mix" for free agent Braylon Edwards.
Edwards would have been an ideal target for big-armed Vikings quarterback Donovan McNabb, but Minnesota likely balked at his asking price. Edwards' last hope for a big deal may be the Redskins. Sensing the depressed market for his services, there's always the possibility the Jets could get back into the bidding.

There's really no one out there that I want other than bringing Cro and Braylon back.

And why isn't anyone talking to Zach Miller? He's a good pass-catching TE that a lot of teams could use.

Who the hell is the Rams TE? I'm sure Bradford would love gunning it to him over the middle.

Oh yeah, Lance Kendricks. Meh, I think Miller is better now and probably will be for the majority of their careers. With a good QB like Bradford throwing it to him instead of those guys they've had in Oakland the past few seasons he could shine.
