but you have always said
It doesn't mean shit.. but for a undrafted player to come in and get selected to the probowl, means something.

Garrard made the probowl when he was 17th in line from everybody dropping out.

and you think one of these 16 UDFA won their spot on the team, or was it having 6 others drop out at the same position

Plus, i have to assume that at least 5 of those 16 are special teamers, like a Larry Izzo type. Not good enough to play defense, but can play well in return coverage

That is an enormous contract for a potential one year wonder. Panthers better hope like hell he lives up to that.

6 of the 16 were special teamers, and another 8 (not including the special teamers) were alternates who weren't originally chosen.

And this is coming from a Saints fan, whos team has a number of UDFA who are now important parts of our team.

Brent Grimes made the probowl but he was thrown at more than any other corner in the NFL last season.

Hey I'm just saying, there are a number of different ways to get your point across that UDFA's are important than using a overrated and overstated stat. Like how many UDFA's made NFL rosters last season?
