Now before everyone on here shouts 'ZOMG HOW ST00PID REVIS IZ SO MUCH BETTER' let's look at some stats.
Samuel - Two TD's against | 19 Receptions Allowed | 7.4 Yards Per Reception (Best in NFL) | Targeted 41 times | 7 INT.
Revis - Three TD's against | 22 Receptions Allowed | 16.8 Yards Per Reception | Targeted 55 times | 0 INT.
Revis also had a tad bit better help as far as pressure on the QB goes. Samuel allowed more than 50-yards less than Revis did post-catch, too. I'll say that, based on last season, Samuel is the top dog. Maybe the most underrated CB next to Terrence McGee in the entire NFL. When Revis did get beat, he got demolished for 16.8 yards per reception. Samuel also successfully defended 14 passes to Revis' nine.
Thoughts?
