Fans are pissed. If this doesn't get resolved quick the NFL will lose alot of its fanbase.
they still have time man
as long as no games are missed, no one will care

so NFL fans missed free agency, talking about so and so not showing up at voluntary camp, talking about blank holding out

who cares

I think alot of people will be pissed if we lose any games (including Week 1 of preseason).

NFLN was speculating that could be pretty soon, if they don't reach a deal by Sunday we could lose that first week.

I'm pretty sure Randy Lerner doesn't even care about the NFL, he's got some soccer team overseas that loves him lol.

People aren't going to stop liking the NFL because of this lockout. Give me a break. There is greediness in every single sport out there, and this is just getting amplified because of the market and sheer love for the game of football in the USA.

If they have football at some point this year, it will be fine.

What exactly have the players sacrificed throughout these negotiations? It seems to me like the owners have been backing down more and more on their stances over the past few months, and the players have been extremely stubborn.

This seems less like "negotiating", and more like a 6 year old throwing a fit.

The owners are also in the wrong here by trying to force the players' hands by releasing this news to the public.

Fuck all of them though. I'm very close to giving up, and focusing 100% on the college game. It's already a better option than the NFL anyway.

From the interviews and all that, it seems like the owners have sacrifice what they wanted, while the players are still trying to get the best deal they can get, and will not sacrifice anything.

If that's the case, I may take a long ass nap.

Sounds about right, from what I've gathered. How frustrating.
