Who do you think ends up being the better NFL defensive tackle?

Nick Fairley if he is committed. Chance to be a monstrous force in the league, but also a big chance to be a bust. I think he'll be fine though.

Really? How is this debatable?

McCoy as of right now.

I actually agree with God himself here.

Not really a fair debate. One guy has been injured and knicked up, and one guy hasn't even played a down.

Should been someone in this draft instead of someone in a past draft.

You guys do know that this is who do you think ends up being the better DT, not who is right now right?

I see no reason why this can't be debated

I think Nola is just trying to Call out <Censored> in the NFC South again..

Starting to see the Trend..

Matt Ryan vs Tony Romo, he argued why Romo was better..

Now hes gonna try to shoot down McCoy.

BUT! For the sake of debating who has more potential.. its still McCoy.. Fairley has a shitty attitude and was a 1 year wonder.. He'll get alot of fines in the NFL for how he sacks a QB and shit. McCoy has a good work ethic, smart, good technique, and has the college stats and career to back it up.

Suh is all effort. If Fairley doesn't come to work, Suh will kick his ass. I'm expecting Fairley to be a beast.

Fairley will be better, especially next to Suh. That is going to be a nightmare for opposing teams and the Bengals will be the first team to get train wrecked by them. Lets hope our QB comes out of the first pre season game alive.

if fairley can get his shit together i might say him just because he is gonna play next to suh, and he will draw alot of attention so he can maybe get into the backfield more, but if i had to choose one i would pick mccoy, better attitude, and who knows what fairly is gonna do.

Suh is sort of like Kevin Williams and I see Fairley as somewhat akin to Jay Ratliff, though Jay NEVER takes plays off. When Fairley's on his game, his motor is constantly running like Jay's. This is a scary D-line. The only combo that would be better would be if Ratliff and Williams were to get together in a 4-3 somewhere.

Again, I have to agree.

I unfortunately had the pleasure of seeing Gerald McCoy against my Longhorns a few times first hand, especially. He's very diverse and he is a physical specimen. He split double teams against my Longhorns and I think that his ability to get a little heat after your quarterback is pretty damn underrated in the grand scheme of things truthfully. He was knicked up a bit this past year, just give him some time especially with Brian Price out of UCLA still in the mix and young, as well as Adrian Clayborn/DaQuan Bowers who they added for the DE position. Gerald McCoy is going to have his fair share of help on the defensive line, very similar to the circumstances that Fairley will see when he steps on the field for the Lions. Keep your eye on McCoy and that Tampa Bay defensive line for the future.

It's amazing that so many people have voted Fairley. What a God damn joke.
