IMO Kobe is obviously gonna go down as better then Wade overall but as of RIGHT NOW I'd take Wade over Kobe personally.

Lol DWade better then Kobe?

The basketball knowledge on this site has taken a terrible fall since I 2st got here.
No, Kobe's just gotten worse since you 1st got here

Only reason he's still considered the best is because of his reputation and fans are so used to just calling him the best player in the game today that they don't even realize that he's fallen off

i'll just say this
Kobe put up numbers this year. Basically the same exact numbers across the board as MVP Rose, but Rose is an up and comer, true superstar, and Kobe is falling off lol

just some perspective...

Probably because Kobe is in his 30's and Rose is in his early 20's?

This was Kobe's worst season in awhile and Wade was just flat out better this year

Exactly. LOL That didn't make any sense Mexi, no offense...

Kobe is one of my favorite players in the league and Wade is probably my least favorite, but come on...

Not really sure what makes me so unknowledgeable about the NBA for saying Wade is better than Kobe... Why don't we take a look at the actual numbers, instead of just going off Kobe's reputation...

25.5 PPG / 6.4 RPG / 4.6 APG / 1.5 SPG / 1.1 BPG / 3.1 TOPG / 50.0% FG% / 30.6% 3P% / 75.8% FT% (Wade)

25.3 PPG / 5.1 RPG / 4.7 APG / 1.2 SPG / 0.1 BPG / 3.0 TOPG / 45.1% FG% / 32.3% 3P% / 82.8% FT% (Kobe)

Wade as a second option put up better numbers than Kobe. Kobe's only real advantage over Wade was at the foul line.

Wade, at this stage, is also a better defender than Kobe. Kobe is still a good defender, but Wade is an elite defender.

Kobe has seen his better days. Also, getting swept by the Mavs was embarrassing.

1, i never said Wade or Kobe. I hated on Kobe's old gimpy chucking ass all year

as for the Rose thing. What I meant was when Rose has his season he's a BEAST, but when kobe puts up the same numbers as Rose, he's falling off

just perspective for how good Kobe has been because I agree he fell off too. no real reason for me bringing that up though :p i just did

Rose improved though, whereas Kobe declined. That's the difference. I'm not saying Rose was better this year than Kobe, I'm just saying why people view it differently, if you get what I'm saying.

i get it

i was basically singing Kobe's praises as I usually do :p
Kobe's down year is the MVP year of another player.
just shows his greatness

as for this, Wade might be better, but man, Kobe is still Kobe. yes he's a jump shooter now rarely going to the rim, gimpy as can be, getting up there in age, not the defender he once was, but he's still Kobe. still putting up great numbers.
I'm going the reputation route, sorry

So you just admitted that Wade is better in talent but you're going Kobe off pure reputation

Oh, no doubt. Kobe is the 2nd greatest SG in league history...

But that's not what we're voting on here.
