thing is, i meant it as the deciding factor. horry and lebron aren't both on nearly the same level before the clutch factor.
Honestly, neither are Romo and Ryan. When you watch the two, it's clear that Romo is established as an elite NFL quarterback. Matt Ryan is on his way, but you can still see that he isn't there yet. Romo is a beast. It's as simple as that, and Jason Garrett is going to make him twice the quarterback he already is, just because he isn't Wade Phillips.

I agree with this 100%, Tony Romo is by far the more established guy and Ryan is still on his way there. As for the clutch thing, Romo has 9 fourth quarter comebacks and 10 game winning drives. Ryan has 8 fourth quarter comebacks and 13 game winning drives. Here's how the two stack up against Drew Brees and Peyton Manning, ranging from 07-09.

Romo: 958-1520 / 63% / 12,142 / 88 TD's / 42 INT's / 95.7 QB rating
Brees: 1216-1801 / 67.5% / 13,880 / 96 TD's / 46 INT's / 97.6 QB rating
Manning: 1101-1641 / 67.1% / 12,542 / 91 TD's / 42 INT's / 97.7 QB rating
Ryan: 885-1456 / 60.8% / 10,061 / 66 TD's / 34 INT's / 86.9 QB rating

Clearly Romo is the more established guy, his numbers rival those of two of the best in the league while Ryan falls much farther below that.

Add this on to it: If Romo wasn't a Dallas Cowboy, the vote would be overwhelmingly in his favor.

Romo isn't an elite QB. Peyton and Brady are the only elite QBs in the NFL, with Rodgers and Brees coming in at the 2nd tier

You excluded Matt Ryan's best season, if those numbers are truly from 07-09, making them completely useless

Matt Ryan is better than Romo if Ryan can take the Falcons to the NFC Championship Game. Obviously everything else being constant, such as no injuries and the team produces at a consistent level which they have.

If those are useless then the numbers would have been useless no matter what.

From what I've heard Philly doesn't exactly like Dallas.

I've yet to hear a reason for why Ryan is better than Romo.

Lol I'm just looking for reasons to why Ryan is better. The only debate going on in this thread is:

A- Why Romo is better than Ryan
B- Kam against the Colts

Honestly, I don't think you could give any reasons to why Ryan is better than Romo.
