My main problem with him has always been his court vision. IMO, you either have it or you don't, it's really not something you can learn as a player. The only passes I see him making are the obvious and simple ones that I could make.

Understandable. I think it is something he can improve on though.
Coach Calipari has a pretty proven track record of good points. I'm hoping this kid continues the trend.
I mean, dude had about the same assist total as D-Rose in college.
I'm not comparing him to Rose whatsoever, but you really never know till he gets to the league.

Will be fun to debate down the road I hope between Irving and Knight as the best point in this draft.

I guess I'm still alone in the camp of thinking BK will not be a good NBA PG..
I watched him since his senior year at Pine Crest, so I know he's a good player. Great pickup for Detroit, but he needs a teacher... who's gonna teach him? Stuckey? Not the best landing spot for him. He's a great learner, but idk how you learn without a teacher.

Yeah he will have to learn the position by himself lol. No one to learn from on this team.

Now I'm seeing the Bulls had made the trade for pick #23 before hand and had a chance at Brooks/Hamilton and chose this guy, they didn't trade for him after the fact...

Makes me even more upset, because Hamilton/Brooks could help our chances now. This guy won't be over for at least four years, if ever... I mean, if he turns out to Toni Kukoc in 2016, whatever, but we're not building for the future, we're trying to win now.
I don't think anyone available that late in a weak draft was going to help put us over the top immediately.

I'm more upset at the fact that we could have turned the pick into Rudy Fernandez.

I'm such a BK fan that I kinda wish you guys still had Chauncey lmao.
He draws comparisons to Chauncey.
I think he ends up just being a score first PG, not a combo guard like Stuckey.
But most of the good PGs in this league these days are shoot first.

Jordan Hamilton or Marshon Brooks would've helped, because they would provide scoring and allow us to move somebody else in a trade.

I don't really care about Rudy Fernandez, he's been nothing special, and never really saw why so many Bulls fans wanted him.

I guess I'm over it. This draft sucked, so it was basically just names that I wanted. We probably won't ever hear from the guys I wanted in the league again.

Maybe we use the cash saved from stashing Mirotic in Europe to get a real SG and when Mirotic comes over in 2016 we have a nice SF to replace Deng? I don't know. LOL

I'm guessing a lot of fan bases wanted Selby/Hamilton/Brooks at the end of the first round there, so nothing to really be disappointed about. Obviously something wrong with them if they all fell.

true, but I'd had hopes of him being a guy who could be at least a 20 PPG, 9 APG, 2 SPG guy lol. Probably gonna end up a 23 PPG, 5 APG, 2 SPG guy lol.

It better not be a debate down the road because of how high we took Irving lol.

I'd be content with like 20 and 7. Perennial all-star.
Hopefully lol.

Another thing. After Jan Vesely was kissing his girl friend/3rd wife or whatever, he then said "I like the John Wall game". That was hilarious rofl

Draft was exiting, 4pick was unexpected, I think Jazz done decent job, of course Miami got Norris Cole they very lucky to get that player.

How did Minny lose? They took the best/2nd best player in the draft and then just completely got out of it
