I was pissed though when he originally went to Minnesota. I wasn't near a computer or anything during the draft and someone sent me a text telling me that the Heat traded for him lol. At least he'll have an opportunity at early playing time, only thing I'm glad about.

Chalmers is a much better shooter and is definitely a better defensive player

Cole played against a bunch of shitty teams this entire year

Only quality opponent was Butler and Cleveland State lost both times
Cole has plenty of range on his jumper, and his 3PT% wasn't as high as you would want because he rarely was taking open 3s, because he was never left open.

Right now, I would say Cole is near defensively (already really good now), and in the future will definitley be a better defender.

Cole is a good athlete, can get the rim better then Chalmers and is a better play maker. If he went to Duke or Kansas, he would have been near the lotto.

He wouldn't have been a lotto pick if he went there because he's just simply not good enough

How many times have you watched him to even have a valid opinion? I watched almost all of his games and he'll be a solid player but I'm not sure if he fits with the Heat, but he will be a better player then Chalmers, if he isn't already better.

Funniest part about the draft though was Marcus Morris saying that he would send Markief flowers or fruit lmao

Then even Valanciunas basically took a shot at Bosh without realizing it lol.

I figured the suns would take Markieff before him..I believe givony said they really liked him a few days ago. Once Klay went 11 I figured Marcus would fall to the mid-teens. Thank god for houston.

It would've been pretty sweet to have Tristan Thompson as a Raptor because he grew up in the Toronto area.

Real happy with the Pistons draft.
Brandon Knight goes without saying. Will be our starting point next year.
Kyle Singler is a hard worker, with a good basketball IQ. If he can improve his jumper he can be a very serviceable player for us.
And don't know much bout Vernon Macklin, but he is a huge body. Could be a nice big off the bench for us down the round.

Also, nice to see Morris go to spot he has a chance to get some play in.
Same goes for Benson.
Hopefully they both do well.

My reaction...

***Picks #1-3 went as I expect.

***Tristan Thompson at #4 was a little surprisng, but I thought it would be him or Valanciunas.

***Toronto had Brandon Knight fall into their laps and passed him up for Valanciunas...stupid.

***Detroit got the steal of the draft. Congrats Rip, you don't have to see Biyombo AKA Ben Wallace 2.0 :p

***Kinda surprised Markieff went a pick ahead of Marcus and surprised with how far Kawhi Leonard falled.

***Had Iman Shumpert to the Knicks nailed on the head. Gotta love the Knicks reaction. LOL

***When I saw Marshon Brooks, Jordan Hamilton, and JaJuan Johnson on the board at 25 I got very excited.

***Then they went back-to-back-to-back and I got a little depressed...

***Then I realized it was a shit draft anyway and we weren't gonna get an impact player regardless.

***Still kinda depressing we won't see this Mirotic guy until 2016 or whatever, but maybe he's that good.

***Corey Joseph to the Spurs at #29 was a laugher.

***Jimmy Butler AKA Michael Oher was not my pick. I would've loved Selby's potential playing behind Rose.

***Really surprised with how low Selby fell. Basically just disappointed in the Bulls, I would rather have Malcom Lee and Norris Cole then wait 5 years for Mirotic, no matter how good he is. LOL

I guess I'm still alone in the camp of thinking BK will not be a good NBA PG..

IDK, I've wanted Knight since March.
I really like this kid. He is too intelligent not to succeed.

Now I'm seeing the Bulls had made the trade for pick #23 before hand and had a chance at Brooks/Hamilton and chose this guy, they didn't trade for him after the fact...

Makes me even more upset, because Hamilton/Brooks could help our chances now. This guy won't be over for at least four years, if ever... I mean, if he turns out to Toni Kukoc in 2016, whatever, but we're not building for the future, we're trying to win now.
