They said the ball flies more in day games, and the way we we're hitting seemed like just about everything had a chance to go out. Wells, Mags, Cabby and Kelly all with homers. This is why I don't worry about them, when I see them play games like this.

They CAN be as good as anyone, but as I've said time and time again, they have been very inconsistent. One or two games nobody can stop their offense, then it's the starting pitching being rock solid, next thing you know they can't hit & the starting pitching can't go 4 innings without allowing 6 runs... In order to be better they will need to work on consistency because if they don't, they won't go anywhere. I understand teams have games like that, you can't be perfect every night. Jim Leyland is always changing the lineups too, it's never the same.

Orlando Cabrera said he would like to believe he is a leader but then said he isn't. He just recently complained about playing time. Not sure why this guy is still on the team..

Hideki Matsui is hitting .223 this year. After this year its time for him to retire. Would be funny if he wins it for the A's, lol.

Athletics tie it up, FML. Man I cant wait for K-rod to leave, too much noise not enough substance.

Sucks that we're going on a 9 game road trip to the NL because Travis Hafner came back from injury swinging.. His resurgance is more surprising to me then Asdrubal Cabrera's season and even our season in total.. It's amazing to see him this good again but he can't play the field anymore lol. But he's turning on the ball like he did during his 3 year MVP numbers stretch.

i remember in either mlb 07 or 08 I always traded for Hafner. Dude was a beast. Got me like 35+ homers a season lol

It's whatever. Just need Carlos and Choo to continue to hit like they have recently and we should be fine for this stretch.

Idk but Daniel Hudson and Ian Kennedy is a real nice 1-2 punch for them. I doubt they win the division though.
