The Warriors have reportedly offered to trade Monta Ellis, Ekpe Udoh, and Andris Biedrins in exchange for Dwight Howard.
This comes from DraftExpress.com, a reputable site, though they note that it is "unlikely" this offer will induce the Magic to part with their franchise center. Howard said recently that he won't sign an extension and will instead become a free agent, and this is surely the first of many trade offers.

Nor should they. But it's just interesting to see what the GSW put on the table for them.

Cff-topic, but OKC should deal Westbrook for Howard.. Obviously you need the commit from Howard to sign the extension but that would work for both teams. Westbrook is about as good of a young player you're gonna get for Howard if you're Orlando, and OKC had problems with Westbrook late in the season and adding Dwight Howard as Durant's 'sidekick' if you will, will do wonders for that team.

Yeah, no way the Magic are doing that, Lee would have to be involved i'm guessing.

This just shows the difficulty the Magic are going to have in trying to trade Dwight. They'll get boatloads of offers, of course, but what kind of fair value will they see for him?

That's the question.

Yeah, a top 5 sg in the game, a very nice young big, and a solid center. That's a good bit to give up, yet that still isn't enough more than likely.

You gotta remember that both Monta and Andris are injury prone. And I'd be much more inclined to do this if I was the Magic if this was still the Andris of 08-09

No doubt it's nice value. I think Monta is a damn good player, and the package is pretty nice overall. But for Dwight Howard?

No thank you.

I agree, thats the best offer your going to get. I would trade Westbrook, Ibaka, and Collison. I would find that as the most fair offer for Dwight. The Magic really need to play well this year from the start, specifically Hedo and Arenas.

I'm actually not shocked by this offer
