Ricky Rubio has reached an agreement with Minnesota to join the Timberwolves next season, league sources tell Y!

There was a Tuesday deadline to sign under rookie scale of current CBA, and no announcement's expected until after Rubio's Euro playoffs end

It's unclear whether Rubio signed agreement on Tuesday, or merely promised to exercise his Spanish buyout on July 1 and then sign with Minny

Nevertheless, RIcky Rubio has committed to joining the NBA and playing for Minnesota in the 2011-'12 season, sources tell Y!

I'm surprised he finally decided to jump, he's been really reluctant since they drafted him. I'm excited to see how he does in the league.

Yay finally. I honestly don't think he'll be too good right away...well not at scoring anyways.

That is true, but I doubt Rubio can defend like Rondo. He lacks strength.

I'm not really a Rubio believer, I think he'll struggle in the league. I heard he isn't even the player he ought to be in his own league, he hasn't improved enough.

Stronger than 19 year old stick Rubio.

Exactly...he's not even dominating over there.

Not many people DOMINATE in Euro-league basketball though. Brandon Jennings was awful in it.

That is also true, but Jennings hasn't done extremely well in the NBA either. But that could be because he is on the Bucks and doesn't get much spotlight.

Yeah, I think he will be good to. But not right away. Well i'm sure he can come in and play, and probably run the offense fine, but I don't see him shooting lights out or scoring a whole bunch. But I hope I"m wrong.

Well next season they will most likely have Love, Beasley, Wes Johnson, and Derrick Williams or Kanter, unless they trade out...which all them, aren't gonna win much. But Rubio could shine on a team like that.
