Jags to target Eric Weddle?

Pro Football Weekly is "hearing" that the Jaguars may target free agent FS Eric Weddle after the lockout.

Jags GM Gene Smith has made it known that he'll sign at least two defensive starters in free agency, and there's no greater need on the roster than free safety. Linebacker is another weak spot. Weddle, 26, is going to cost a lot of money. At the very least, teams in pursuit may have to be willing to match Colts FS Antoine Bethea's four-year, $27 million pact signed last June.

Last time we even did anything great in the playoffs was 1999.

2007 we won the Wildcard game against the steelers on a Khalif Barnes hold. WHOOPIE. We still got our asses beat by the Pats the next year.

2005 Byron Leftwich/Garrard lead us to the Playoffs, we still got our asses beat by the Pats.

So, yeah. Im a real fan. Been a fan since they been in Jax.

Marcus Stroud? 1 guy? In 2006 when we didn't go to the playoffs?

I dont even think it was steroids exactly, was something else. Stroud was injured after that, then we shipped him off after 2008.
